Startup Fails

All the time I click on "Start", this shows up. http://media.photobucket.com/image/perfect%20world%20problem/modekid/problem.png
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.
Hope there will be a quick response :D

    I am also having the same problem, just today actually. It was working fine yesterday.

    Hopefully we can get some response.

    My advice - you need to download fresh client from this page b:victory

    If it worked fine yesterday:
    • Install new version of graphic driver
    • Update\Install directx
    • Try "Verify" button on launcher.
    • Find and delete file \perfect world\element\userdata\systemsettings.ini to reset setting to default
    • Sometimes helps installing files for the East Asian languages

    hey! I got the same problem! I had 2 reinstall my pc due to a new harddisk!
    so I downloaded pwi and got it all up 2 date! I c the exact same message and have no idea what the problem could b!

    at the moment I'm running windows xp service pack 1 because I just needed my pc 2 work.. soon I'll get windows 7 back on it..

    I also checked my clientversion just now! it's nr 574

    plz help! I wanna get back online!b:cryb:cryb:cry

    ok so from what I can see, the OP needs to download the latest client and update it properly, afterwards update your video card driver...

    SeverinNacht, try rebooting your computer. Also check to see if Windows update inadvertently updated your video driver. That's pretty common.

    evilurborg, similar issue with yours, although you may not have had an actual video driver yet because of a fresh installation of windows.

    This error occurs most typically when your video drivers are not compliant with DirectX acceleration requirements.
