Bloodthirsty hexwebs

I took a quest to collect 25 webs from bloodthirsty hexwebs as it reads in the picture

but when I went to the location by clicking the mob's name, there were only hexweb kings. I kill about 20 and none of them gave me these webs in question. So, the question is - where are these mobs? Obviously they're not at that location and it looks like it's the 2nd quest which shows one location and the quest is actually on another.

    I don't remember this quest but it seems that the mobs you have to kill are indeed the hexweb kings.

    Look around the forums and you'll find a few threads with the same problem and the answer I just give you.

    i think its the king mobs, you should keep killing those giant spider kings mobs equiped with a shovel near the stone mobs. i remember i had same issue with the name, also a new quest (available after lvl 40)in Earthguard zone will tell you again a wrong name of mobs, but the auto-path to mobs location it works.This issue came with the latest patches after they tried to beautify/improve the quest log.Just kill the mobs in auto-path and you will receive the killings/items.This quest might have also rare drop rate.I done this quest on a cleric 41 lvl.

    Edit: and btw, those spider mobs are the only spiders near angler village or in that area :)

    I know the auto-path works, it works in this case but when I said it wasn't the first quest with wrong information I meant something else: a spiritual cultivation quest requires to collect hidden celestial sprite and auto-path takes me north of Etherblade (not far from Timberfield) where are no special flowers of any kind nor any of the given mobs dropped that sprite. I went to Ancient Peak to continue with other quests and surprise - I saw a flower Zeema which was harvestable and when I collected it I received both hidden an captured celestial sprites.
    So, my point is that the quest I mentioned yesterday could be of the same misleading type. This morning I kept killing those kings and yet none of them dropped any webs.

    Try to visit and read Ence's guide , the best complete quests guide b:victory http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=136781
    See again the name of the quest, location of mobs, name of the mobs ignore them if need.
    If nothing works or is stil same, then trash the quest and take it again but only after you have read the Ence's guide.If a quest its not on the 40s lvl quests list then search it on 30s , could be from 38 or 39 lvl.
