Annoying system text

When I play, I quite often get some french (or whatever) system text scrolling across the screen above my character. How do I turn that off? Also, how to I hide the chat box?

    You can hide it behind horizontal function bar.
    For default it has 1 line, but you can extend it to any quantity (2 is enough).

    To exclude possible blinks, switch common to squad chat before above.

    Note:
    I use old user interface, so length of function bar is more.

    That is not what I am after.

    Where is the function to remove the scrolling system text from the center of the screen, and where is the function to close the chat box? No workarounds please.

    I use built in functions.

    This is because other (external) are bannable (read rights below).

    Okay then:

    If I klick in the upper left corner, I close my characters HP and MP bars.

    If I klick in the upper rigth corner, I close the minimap.

    Where do I click to close the chat box?

    I'm pretty sure you can suck it up and handle a chat box or two.

    Must be a French person on World Chat. No biggie wait until you see German. or was it Russian ... idk but I stare for a good 5 secs before turning my head to try and decipher it. :D

    D: We all got to be picky and make different language well I wanna refund on whatever original language we may have had. xD
