I'm not sure where all the "fake bidding" comes from. Even before map reset, as far as I know, you bid for the TW and those lil guilds who wanna get a piece/see what TW is jumped in. I mean I was once a puny lvl 40 in a puny guild who wanted to see TW too. Of course there's the occasional "joke bid" where 1 person makes a random guild and bids for the lolz--that's always been there ever since...well since they still announced bidding guilds on system chat. I think it goes without saying that those bids were nothing more than jokes to make the server laugh.
As for Enrage "fake bidding." I think the guild itself has been so infamous on the server from the start that they couldn't get allies to "fake bid" even if they wanted to. Let's run through the leadership very fast to see where it might have happened (and to contribute to Enrage history thread):
1. Clunker: very patient, very unbiased leader. He had his heart set in RoC and its values of "no alliances." Not to mention, he's my ex, and although I admit that not EVERYTHING is shared between couples, fake bidding was something that didn't even exist in his mind (even if he did have a panda-brain.)
2. Marin: Likely the most levelheaded leader and I would say the one with the best judgment we ever had. Ppl in GD probably know him better now than I did. Although he was ACCUSED of fake bidding by the gms, he argued it and ended up proving that he was not involved in any of it (and didn't get banned).
3. rcr: This leader was the one who brought Enrage the map, and therefore, I assume Vallenion's accusations of fake bidding before map reset is directed towards him. rcr was a man who could handle himself (and the guild), by himself. He dealt with a lot of **** in and out of guild. I would laugh if anyone accused HIM of fake bidding of all people, given his pride as a person and his honesty to himself.
4. Mystic/Evanera: My, my, what you had to go through. Although I'm afraid you didn't hold much of the guild's love when you stepped up, however with a bit of help, you sure pulled us outta a mess. I'm afraid that TW was lame and boring with owning the map week in week out and pve TWs, but at least you didn't have to worry about TW and "fake bidding" accusations with all the rest of the stuff going on. Yeah, with 1-2 tws a week when we owned the map, that SURE leaves room for fake bids.
5. Anne (current): I've probably never been happier in the guild until your leadership. As far as I know, small guilds don't even try to bid anymore these days, so I don't know there the accusation comes from. The EvilTree incident? I see it nothing more than what Momento and Antigone used to do as jokes (bidding on big guilds with the Enrage*space* and Radiance*space*). Nobody gave a damn then. It was worth a laugh. In the case with EvilTree, it didn't even offset any gank times like the others did. I don't know why ANYONE would be angry other than Anne if she got banned for it because it didn't hinder any ganks, outbid any other previous bids, and gave ppl a short wtf/laugh for the sheer unexpectedness of it to everybody.

as far as i know it ducky, every *major* landholding faction has had a leader banned over fake bidding...I know Rad and ENrage has...
