Okay, this is annoying.

Is there any way to remove that french system text which is constantly spamming the chat box and scolling across the center of our screen?

It is annoying to the degree that I am about to stop playing this game.

    Yes, reroll on an American server... then you can be annoyed by the English system text constantly being spammed in the chat box and scrolling across the center of the screen, and which you can't filter out.

    That was a reasonable solution. All you had to do is download the client from an American server if you wanted English text. It seems that with your attitude you'll probably be dissatisfied with any game you play.

    I played briefly on Lothransis with the client i've used for PWI for the past few years, didn't bother d/ling a big file as it seemed poitless, servers listed as Europe. Although quest,mobs and 99.5% is in English, mobs that sometimes respond, say it in French but that is all.

    Oh and as for the spam in the centre of the window, funny how it's in most only French for 'free' events but as soon as RL money is involved it's in English as well. So glad the English speaking community WEREn't the traget.

    I am not complaining about the language, I am complaining about the annoyance of text moving across my screen while I am playing.

    Only stupid developers make such things in their games which can't be turned off, and I am not going to play a game created by stupid people. That is why I am quitting.

    Clever developers know how to earn a living by creating good contents, without annoying their players.

    your either dumb or a trolls cuz most mmos have some kind of text like that, and no one cares if you're not playing the game so no need to announce it. If your over it then why are you even on the forums.

    That small text should be the least of your worries about this game. Seriously, theres a lot more crucial things to complain about on this game

    Because the developers need to see that there are players, who don't care for what they are doing, and are quitting their game because of it.

    I simply cannot stand people who deliberately force things upon others, which they know perfectly well that they don't want. It is annoying advertising spam, and it irritates the hell out of me.

    PWE aren't even the developers. And you're the first person I've ever seen complain about something so stupid. The scrolling text doesn't even pop enough to complain about it. Why not complain about the stupid pack spam, now that is annoying. But thats PWE's in game advertising so its not going anywhere.
