Missing stuff

Hello all,
so today i finally logged in after a couple of months or so only to find nearly all gear/coin gone on one of my accounts. I don't want to jump on the ''I got ****!!11!'' bandwagon though due to the following:
1. I never shared my account info with anyone
2. My acc. info has never been used anywhere outside of PWI (other sites etc.)
3. My computer is free of trojans, keyloggers etc.
4. My Rank 8 gear is completely lost which can only mean it could've been NPC'ed. Interestingly enough, all my TT gold gear is sitting there in my inventory.
5. My inventory/stash have both been completely wiped out down to the last herb, rebirth order etc., but the stuff i had in Account Stash is still there (coins too).
6. Two of my alts got completely wiped like my main, but about 8mil worth of fashion is still equipped on one of them.
Given the above i doubt there was an intrusion into my account, especially since i have absolutely no clue how anyone could even get into it.
EDIT: I also got that ''Logged in from banned region'' thingy. I resolved the issue easily, but can't help to wonder if that could've had anything to do with it.
So, what's up? Any ideas anyone? b:surrender

If you didn't do it yourself it has to be another person that did it. Items just dont automatically npc themselves when you're not playing. Also, you can never be 100% sure about account intrusion these days. If you didn't share your password with anyone, I would bet the it was either a keylogger or you visited one of those fake gold site things. When you downloads things they can be infected without you know also.
Has anyone been using your computer visiting sites and downloading things?0 -

No, i'm the only one using it. I never visited any suspicious site or downloaded anything PWI-related either. I've been playing online games for way too long to fall for stuff like that.
If i did anything potentially risky for my account i would've put 2 and 2 together and wouldn't have even started this topic, because i'd know that it's my fault.
As things stand though, i'm just plain confused about what happened.
I also don't do hard drugs or play drunk so i didnt' waste the gear myself b:laugh.0 -
When you log on there is a listing on the IP address that last logged your account and when, you should have gotten a SS of it.Sins are Scissors, Psychics are Rocks, and Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock ...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.

you could've very EASILY have gotten a keylogger or dataminer w/o knowing it..... My account on FFXI got **** once... the NIGHT i bought a ton of stuff off the AH, then went to bed. next day i try to get on i can't, then my friend gets on and he finds MY TOON in one of the cities obviously trading gear to a RMT toon. they were wiping my account clean to sell the gear to use the coins to pay off people that buy game coin on RMT sites..... He got a GM to lock my accoutn down while i scanned my PC...... they got a dataminer on there somehow within 8 hours without stopsign noticing. And i know it was 8 hours, cause i had just run my weekly scan that night...... (since then SE instituted the same random password keychain thing that WoW uses i think, if u use that it's compeltely IMPOSSIBLE for them to get on your account even IF they know your password).
not to mention some antivirus (like nortaon and mcafee) jsut suck and dont' catch half the junk out there...
Although why they'd take half your stuff... but leave coins.... but npc rank gear.... but leave your TT gold (had you worn it yet? was it bound?)...... but leave fashion..... lol this sounds more like somone u used to trust **** with you.0 -
It certainly is weird and does not seem to be the work of a hacker, but then they might have just started cleaning your account out when you logged in. Though it is also possible that there was some sort of data corruption on the servers and partial data for your account was lost and they rolled it back to a previous point and since you were inactive you never noticed till now.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yea, it's really weird. I mean, to bother with wiping stuff lika a pickaxe, herbs, rebirth orders etc etc (basically everything inlucing rank gear) and then leaving TT gear... Yea, the TT gear was bound. Basically the only thing you could take off my main were boots, a cape, tome and 1 ring, rest was bound by default. My main basically had fully extended inventory + stash and i dont think i had more than like 10 slots free total. Why would anyone even bother with getting rid of that much junk (cuz i really didn't have any real valuables anyway).
The fashion makes no sense either. I didn't trust anyone with my login info though, that's problem
Thank you for sharing your intrusion experience, although in my case, targeting specifically me doesn't make much sense because i really didn't have much - i'm a casual player. I guess it's possible, i'll try submitting a ticket and see what happens...although i don't have much hope.

If nothing works out, i'll just use a new account and remake my main. I had tons of fun with her the first time around so i bet it's gonna be a blast starting her again. b:victory0
