Hitmans worth getting anymore?

Looking rationally (cost/damage), they are not worth getting. R8 will turn out cheaper, and you got plate, weap and leggings. 90% of the sins tend to use H&T in their 90s, since you're 98... r8 won't be far. You can't resell them either, making it a sort of dead end, so you must be sure what you want.

After that, you can take into account other things, like "I want another weapon then most ppl", "hitman look better" or "they can be accountstashed on this 8-sin account unlike r8, and cheaper then nirvana". Even though there are more powerfull daggers and more cost-efficient ones, hitman are still a good weap. I could understand someone would get them for some personal reason.

Basically, Hitman's are a valid choice for an early endgame weapon if you have a tome. Rank 8 have better dph but hit slower, G13s have more -int but start out hitting softer, both refine better than the rank 6 Hitmans. If you have a tome the -.05 combined with every other piece of -int makes you 5.0, meaning you have a 20% damage boost, making you right even with Rank 8 at 4.0 since it does about 19% more dph (depending on the refine). Without a tome you are 4.0 and out DD'd by both other weapons rank 8 at 3.33 and G13 at 5.0.

Comparing equal refines Rank 8 and G13 both refine better. The less refines you plan on putting on your dagger the more viable Hitmans are. It's about +8 that G13's take over and +9 rank 8 take over.

Comparing costs... Hitmans run about 200-250 mil on my server for the signs, maybe more. You'll need rank 8 anyways to make the -int of hitman's worth it anyways. So compare 250 mil vs. 2 mil for roughly equal dps. Can also compare about 180 mil for G13's. Another benefit of G13's is if you have the tome you can drop 1 piece of -int (like the ornies) and chose something more defensive for greater survivability, but still remain 5.0. So Hitman's aren't cost effective. G13's can also be used as a souledge for endgame daggers.


Pretty much the only reason to get Hitman's is to have a nice weapon 10 level's earlier for a couple mil more, but you're already lvl 98. That or account stashing to a second sin.

Well OP already spent 75mil on signs before deciding to ask if they're worth it. What does that tell you about his intelligence...?

... I wouldn't be so sure about that. I recall playing an Archer being just about STA + autoattack and when it came to mobs it just switched to Frost + Autoattack. Maybe that's why the Archers are so math-savvy: they got too much free time so they apply themselves to higher pursuits.
