Hi everybody! I've never played Perfect world before , but it seems to be pretty nice game!
I have some questions here:

1. What server has lots of players?
2. How much the item shop affects on gameplay?
3. I am making a Blademaster or a Barbarian , which one of those is better?
4. How good equipment i can make with crafting? and whats the new runecrafting skill about?
5. How many raids there's in game? because i like raids b:chuckle

    1. They all have a decent number of players, I would pick whichever server is tailored to you (likely a pve server if you're new here, and pick whichever region you are in)

    2. Item shops don't matter a great deal until you get to higher level, since most people use them to sell the higher-level materials to make end game gear.

    3. Well barbs are loved in parties because they are always the designated tank with their high hp, but blademasters seem to be a bit better with stunlocks and damage output from what I've seen, if you like raids however I'd go with barb just because they are generally more helpful

    4. Honestly no a clue, maybe someone else can help you with that, I've never been much of a craftsman. (I do love apothecary pots though)

    5. There are dungeons you get at 19 (for humans, elves, and untamed) 29,39,51,59, and 69 for which you get quests and once you hit 40 you can do bounty hunter quests that will take you into those dungeons again for a good amount of exp. In addition as you get higher you can go to places like Twilight Temple, Frostcovered City and many more, there are plenty of large instances in the game for you once you get to a decent level

Agree with everything Tanis said, so I'm just gonna answer Q4:

At low levels you can craft the same equipment that the NPCs sell to you with chances to make it better:

the "quality" of an item on this game is represented by stars at the beginning of the item's name, the basic gear has only one star (that is the one you can buy at the NPCs), then you have 2 star items with a bit better fixed stats and if you are very lucky you can craft a 3 star item with the best fixed stats (and if its a weapon it also glows b:dirty )

Also you have chances of getting aditional stats like +HP, +attack, +defense, etc.

But all this is COMPLETLY random, you can craft a very good item or one worst than the NPC b:sad

    At mid-high levels
the best gear must be crafted from molds and special materials found on dungeons, so you must have your crafting skills leveled up or you are gonna need someone to craft it for you... or sometimes you can just buy it already crafted, is up to you really.

EDIT: something else I forgot: every item you make has your character name on it (it says: manufactered by: xxxxx), is pretty cool.

Runecrafting? I don't know much about it, but it seems expensive b:chuckle

    Hope this helps.

Have fun and welcome to the game! b:victory

You need to first figure out of you want to play on a PVE or PVP server.

Runecrafting - it costs alot to get up there and right now, I don't see the benefit (even though I am learning) but I am hopeful (and bored).

    1. Each server has thousands of players you just need to decide if you want to mainly pvp or pve.

    2. like above doesnt effect you in anyway until end game stuff...unless you love to buy fashion and mounts all the time.

    3. Both are good choice to start but I may suggest picking up apoth crafting early on...having apoth items makes lvling ALOT easier.

    4. I wouldnt worry about equip much until your 30s because when you start out you receive beginner gear every X amount of time that you can wear for 2 weeks. By that time you should be into better gear. Runecrafting I dont know much about yet since I too recently just returned to the game lol.

    5. I havent done them all but the earliers one that I consider a "raid" is lv 60...after that there are plenty to keep you busy. Before that you can run FBs and BHs which is a good way to learn squad set ups and how to play your class.

Twilight temple is a dungeon where you can find special materials to craft weapons and armor for levels 60+

Nirvana is a high level instance, again you do it to make better gear (level 100+)

You should check out the guides here:

    http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20

and reborn? what is that? b:puzzled

Um, I'm still a little new here, but I've never even heard that mentioned. Sounds like prestige-ing from some multiplayer games *cough*CallofDuty*cough* but you don't see features like that in MMOs very often since gear is level dependent and no one wants to spend months getting to 90 to reset back to level 1. That'd just be silly...

tell that to the devs of Jade Dynasty cuz that is exactly what they do.
