Hey so I'm lvl 81 atm, (62% Ftw..) and I was wondering if i can start doing pulls once i have this gear:
Click ME (;
Not that good I realize but I'm kinda poor as ****.

Thanks for answers in advance, if I get any b:thanksb:chuckle

PS; If in fact I can do half a pull or a full pull, if u have any advice on how to actually do it.. that would help too b:cute

I was in an fc earlier today, 80-90 and a 90 bm joined. He had some epic gear (and too much coin) and he had nearly 8k hp! (Fully buffed)
He was doing pulls like they were nothing. The barb quit pulling cuz the bm actually did better on them! b:surrender FC scares me.

    Archerxx,

With that gear you should be able to do full FC pulls with no problems. Basing from my experience, as long as I had the minimum hp of 5000, I was able to do full pulls. (Yes, I did use a charm and spam crab meat for that. XD)

    To ensure success in pulls:
    1.)Level your Unfetter to max
2.)Get Holy Path on your genie. Make sure you can Holy Path twice in succession.
3.)Spam Crab Meat during the pull.
4.)Bring Dew of Star of Protection with you and use it when things get shaky.
    5.)Be charmed.

When you improve your skills in pulling, (making those sharp turns, timing your Unfetter and Holy Path right, etc), things will be much easier for you and you won't need to do everything in that list above. But for now, since you're practicing, I suggest doing those 5 things to ensure your success in every pull.

You will never catch me. But if you do, someone else will take my place. b:chuckle

Thanks for the reply and I do hope i can do some big pulls later on, Since i can't afford the full immac or perfect citrines and +5ing all my gear i expected that i wouldn't be doing pulls until 99+

If your unsure about how to pull then try checking out youtube, there's probably some videos on there. Seeker, in my opinion, is better than BM at pulling. Another useful skill to max for pulling is blade affinity, so that when you get to the stop point on your pull you can blade affinity + vortex almost immediately. This means if you don't have a BM or the miss stun you'll have the aggro instead of a cleric BBing (assuming you have cleric). Also always try to have a sin for BP, makes everything easier when vortexing.

I now tend to do more 3/4 man FC's, often without a cleric, and I can pull and solo pretty much all the pulls (the exception being the magic hall, and I can solo it if I don't pull all the way to the shade but stop halfway) - I have about 6.8k HP unbuffed. I have pretty decent gear (rank + TT90 armour, TT90 gold sword) but not massive refines and my shards are all flawless citrine

Well i see people wc for seekers for pullers more then bms XD so yeah i agree with you.b:chuckle.

:D i got 7k unbuffed i can do full pull everything but the big big pull from the bishop boss to the runewolf. I just seem to lag everytime at the bit you have to turn around at the door, when i do that pull, most of the time, but i keep trying lol. Well i have pulled it when i havent lag xD once.

I might have to make orb charger for that bit lol or dew protection for that bit ;p. I know i shouldn't need it, but i lag there to often for it to be a coincidence.

About the only thing I would suggest you change on the gearing is get m.def ornaments as back-up for the pulls that got a mix of magic and physical. Because of the +30 def buff it'll give even more def against them (as a HA class, p.def isn't much of an issue), but adding more m.def is always recommended. Also I would suggest changing the sword from Firelotus to something that doesn't take 5% hp (because trust on on this, with all the mobs in big room that **** will proc like mad and can end up killing you). Maybe frost 85 sword, or one of the 90 green's.

Pulling wise, all the mobs in big room are physical so they won't be much of an issue. You just want to have your speed skill leveled to max and have at least double holy path (150 energy required, or a seriously high mag stated genie for quick regen of energy).
As for the other pulls, it's all about being able to pull and get into vortex quick, or be able to do AoE's with enough to kill them.

also, one thing. Restat =.='' You are not a bm, you are a seeker. Your build is that of a sword, which will put you at 255 str, 155 dex and all other in vit (these are the base stats for all end-game gear for up to r9 (whenever it is released), and these are w/o stat boosts).

so overall I'd suggest something like:

    http://pwcalc.com/80a64c40009ab796

+2 is very easy to get with just mirages, and from fairy boxes mirage prices have basically gone to **** so it's very easy to get enough to get everything to +2. +3 on the wep is just because I like to keep my wep at a higher refine than my armor, just because of dmg purposes.

But with the weapon I just on there, you actually get HP back and dmg increase when it procs instead of a dmg spike and hp loss with the weapon you had on. Along with this you are at 6.3k unbuffed hp, and 8.4k buffed (of course I gave the best possible situation where you have a barb, cleric, bm, and archer all with their lvl 11 party buffs).

Oh, and my main tip for pulling:

CRAB MEAT, CRAB MEAT, CRAB MEAT!
    Charm, CHarm, CHArm, CHARm, CHARM!
And know how to use your speed skills!!

If you didn't lag then you should be able to do it without orb or dew, the way I do it is as follows:

1: pop a crab meat and holy path twice down the hall to the end
2: at the end, turn and unfetter back
    3: keep pumping crab meat!!
4: when i get into the main room my genie has regenerated enough to holy path again, so holy path to the corner
5: blade affinity and then vortex

Keep crab meat up at all times, and have BP on for vortex healing. Being able to get 3 holy paths in is a real help as it buys you a bit of time without being hit for your hp to regenerate from the crab meats. My genie has 50 magic and 40 vitality, holy path maxed.

You have enough physical defense for pulling the full xp room, though if you're not too sure, do halves for a bit. As suggested, slightly more magic defense from ornaments.

Ah that must be it. I am not double holy pathing before the end of the hall i am doing one.b:shocked. Thanks i will try that. That should reduce my deaths significantly.

Another trick you can do is just vortex on the first mob of the pull and keep it running, have someone run the mobs into you (I took some low levels on an FF and had an 80 sin do the pulls rather easily), vortex cancels a lot from my experience pulling, and it wastes sparks as soon as it starts channeling instead of upon activation, so it's been sketchy for me. I think continuously pumping crab meat is the key. And as for HP, I have about 5.8k with adds and I always got through pulls fine (Before TT90, my HP was miserably low lol) Blood paint is a godsend. I personally think unless you can tank the mobs without vortex and successfully kill them, you shouldn't be pulling+Vortexing the same pulled mobs, I think it's high risk and would rather not b:surrender it does get easier as you level though. Also note: I did all these pulls without charms, and 20 base vit, so if I can do it, you can do it.

here's another tip i found out about a few weeks ago. in the exp room, there are purple/pink sword holding mobs in the center of the groups in the middle row. not sure if they were always there (dont remember them being there personally but my toons b4 seeker were not tanks).

well what happens is these lil buggers debuff you and the tank ends up taking pretty huge damage if they start stacking the debuff. the best thing to do while you are learning is to pull those mobs out (genies or veno) and kill them separately before the pull.

@Father_gold: put BP on and a cleric in blue bubble with enough DD backing your *** and you won't even know those little ******* mobs are there.

Also they are called frostcovered captains (or something along those lines), and yeah they do a curse which is like heaven's flame that it amp's their dmg.

The beauty of being a Seeker and pulling that room is if the captains do indeed debuff you, when you get back to the centre with either half or the whole room you can quickly blade affinity + quid pro quo the debuff back and then vortex.

I'm thinking of making a seeker guide once i reach 100, and by the sounds of it a little section on how to FC might be useful b:victory

I gave up on trying to right a frost guide when I got to the veno class and went "What the **** do they do again....???"
