Is it just me being really lucky or is it something else? I only have 5% crit and I crit mobs every 5-7 spells. Even on my archer I get less crits shomehow.

    It does help me with killing mobs for quests, but also kinda mess up my combo lol. I'v always found 5% to be a magic number on my wiz. I just find it crazy. b:surrender

    No, I just grew increasingly concernerd my client was borked and wasnt showing my crits or something b:chuckle

    I often found shortly after incresing dex 10 points,i got more critical hits.It's kinda obvious,yet luck seems to be part of the percentage.

    Im a pure wiz, I dont put ANY Dex. The % I get are from gear. And it seems luck over took PWI %? coz 1-2 crit in 5-7 spells is deadly... b:shocked

    I remember in a 1vs1 with a kitten I did sutra and my next 4 spells crit. He said wizzy's critting 4 times in a row should be illegal lol =]

    As far as I know, the crit percentage is incremental based on dex. Yes, every 20 dex gives you 1%, but 10 will give you 0.5% and so on, though it is not shown on the char screen.

    Sounds correct.

    Forgot to quote the 0.5% per 10 points part of last poster, that's what i'm referring to.

    My barb recently learned Demon Bestial Onslaught (Gives 35% added crit for 6 secs), and at 60 dex with other bonuses he has (Axe/hammer mastery and rings) GIves me what would be 43% crit in human form. The move itself seems to crit quite a lot and since I got it I would more say leans more forward the 2 crits outta 3 next moves then 1 outta 2.. Been a week I have it though so didn't throughly test it yet.

    My BM has a lowish 14% crit and can crit 3 times in a row when sparked. So yah must be pure luck I dunno...
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle
