If you're playing an arcane robe cleric, then you've screwed up your stats big time. ._.;;
Although, that can be fixed with a reset note.Server: Sanctuary

your character build is kinda strange, you don't need ANY dexterity so stop putting poins on it RIGHT NOW!!! EDIT: you just need it if you choose light armor... DON'T
ok, now you have 3 choices:
1 - If you are a perfectionist, start a new character and make a proper attribute point distribution from scratch (is not that hard to get a toon to level 19;).
2 - If you are just a casual player and don't feel like starting over again, put some points now and then into dex till 20 and then stop, at least that way you win +1% critical chance.
3 - Use a reset note, not worthy at your level but it's your call.
You should look up for cleric's builds at the cleric's forum, but here some personal advices:
- don't add to much vit, cap it at 40 or 50, the points are more useful on mag!
- mag... mag... mag! that is the most important atribute for you: it increases your magic attack (and your heals), your MP pool, your MP recovery rate and your magical defense! Also make sure you have enough mag points to use the magic weapon for your level!
- just put enough strenght points so you can use the armor of your choice, arcane or light armor (I strongly recomend you to go arcane). btw if you are arcane leave alone strenght for a few levels, you have alot of it, just increase mag (and vit if you like).
that's all.
Good luck with your cleric! b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
A few things:
1. If you want all the info an up and coming cleric needs to know, look in the cleric sub-forums.
2. Clerics are magic based. We don't need any dex at all unless you want to use light armor (or even heavy, but that generally isn't recommended). Generally, most say that you should only put enough str to wear the next highest armor, which isn't very much for robes (one point every other lvl I think is the rule of thumb). Vit is a bit of a sticky subject for clerics. Some say you should put a point or two into it every lvl, some say just up it to 40 or 50, and some say just stick everything into mag. Basically, stop putting points into dex totally, and stop with str until you absolutely need it. Most of your points should be going into mag, and put points into vit sparingly according to your individual play style.
3. In PWI, the lvl cap is 105. 150 is in other versions of the game. Not sure if there is an upper limit to how many points you can put into any given stat though.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

One strength every other level when your build is normal. At level 19, your strength should be around... 13 or 14, I believe. So just dump points into magic (vit on rare occasions) until you reach level 52 or so, because that's about when your character should be having 30 strength.Server: Sanctuary

yup, if you use arcane armor you only need 1 strenght point every two levels, stop adding for now, so on the next levels pump your mag like crazy and some points into vit (1 or 2 every two levels) if you feel like it.

Pick one of these builds to help you decide how to spend your points.
* Every 2 levels: 10 stat points
+ Barebones build. Minimum necessary stats for robes/weapon (not a build per se but you can do this to conserve your stats if you haven't made up your mind yet).
- 6 MAG
- 1 STR
- 3 free points
+ Highly offensive build. Very low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 9 MAG
- 1 STR
+ Offensive build. Low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 7-8 MAG
- 1 STR
- 1-2 VIT
+ Balanced build. Decent survivability. Mid-high damage and healing power.
- 6 MAG
- 1 STR
- 3 VIT
I also recomend you checking out the cleric subforum and checking out some of the guides. It will explain which skills to level, and which not to. How to play the class well, etc. For example, blessings of the purehearted is a pretty useless skill, you should be leveling Ironheart blessing instead[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
