ok since pwe closed off 2 of its game LoMA (legend of martial art) and HoTK (heroes of three kingdom) without any notice and only refunded 25% of the zen. how would u feel if pwi all of the sudden closed?

relief? angered?

    well pwrd stock lose like 400million dollars in months, They had to close those games i guess. If pwrd stock lose more money this game might shutdown..and i will go look for another mmorgp game

    I'd feel happy, cuz then I'd leave by force and not by will, my will sucks I know so that'd be a good solution for my pocket and my desire for some better game.

    PWI is a tiny market compared to the game in China. I can easily see china pulling the plug on PWI.

    Indifferent. I just...don't care anymore. Well I do to enough of an extent to say I don't, but...blech. Brain overloading...emergency shutdown commencing. =_=

    This isn't the same game I fell in love with years ago. And while making money and farming gear isn't necessarily hard, it just...I dunno.

    There are people that enjoy this game as it is now. And I can respect that I suppose. But I wouldn't feel bad for them if it all came crashing down tomorrow. And that makes me sad. D=

    I`m sure the TOS states that you own nothing, meaning they cannot be brought to justice for pixels people bought and doing whatever they please with the game, even pulling the plug any time they want like it`s no big deal, in fact they shouldn`t even refund a small percentage of zen people spent, it`s just a move to get people play one of their other games which will end in a fiasco!

I mean years of playing and making friends and having, just stop like that...I'm sure I'd get withdrawel symptoms too lol, but I guess it would be a blessing in disguise as I can't really quit on my own, I love the game to much...life will go on...eventually b:chuckle

As per the terms of service (of which you personally digitally signed, like all of us) all things here are property of PWI. Your account is owned by them, your characters are owned by them, those awesome rank9 gears, yeah, those too belong to them.

    You see in all reality when you "spend" money on this game, you are actually donating. See below.

    The terms of service, also goes on to say that you will aslo never be able to seek legal council or get anything back from them. No courts, no jusdge, nothing, never.

    They do essentially provide a service, however. but it's not like other MMOs that are pay to play of course, so I guess it's a whole different animal. Not like paying for a monthly fee.

    Me? Personally I've left and come back to this games quite a few times now. I don't feel like my money was ever wasted (ok maybe a little haha). I had fun here with the people I've met over the last three years, finally found a wonderful faction with great people... I'm pretty happy.

    And it's not like I'd lose them all if PW went crashing down... we keep in touch in other ways outside of PWI like close friends do lol.


    And besides, I'm just biding my time here while I wait for other games to come out really... I will probably always come back here if I have a choice to but I wouldn't be heartbroken if I couldn't. I'd just find PW-MY and see if I can start there. X'D kidding.

    I accept the good times and bad times. I think about stuff like this every now and then. I came to PWI in hopes to find a free online mmorpg type game that my friends and I could play together. Safe to say this game really doesn't offer much besides being really beautiful looking and the best character customization. Seeing other versions of this game get many other new things like the full faction base with new armor, the speed they actually get the new content since its first release and moderators/admins that prove they care about the game more than they say it is what frustrates me the most. I already got other games in mind. But in all honesty if I got hung up over it at some point I'd just go to a private server for a bit. The end of this game is their loss not mine.

    I wouldn't say those games were closed without any notice, it was actually quite obvious they would meet that end soon.

    HoTK and LoMA were Fail games fomr the start VERY VERY low player rates etc... LoMA was a Ghost town from teh time I played it in beta. =/ Its nothing like PWI is.. and even if they shut down PWI, whihc is unlikely considering the amount of people that ACTUALLY quit and never log on anymore is miniscule at best (All of my friends that SAY they are quitting still log on regularly and or have come back a lot). But even if they shut it down eh, if PWI is you schtick you got P-servers and the Chinese version of the game whihc is playable if you know how and where to look for it. And oyu have to know that he CN version of the game is VERY lucrative and a lot of people play it, more then here. =)

    I would go on a family vacation to the states with my 25% refund! then come back and forget all about pwi, except for missing some of the friends i made..

    No, you are NOT donating, you are paying for a service, that service being the use of digital goods that PWE holds the license to. If I buy zen and transfer it to a server I'm paying for the use of the digital currency required for their in game store. That gold can only be used for that store on that game on that server. If that server is deleted or the game shut down, by rights I would expect any gold I had on my account on that server to be transferred back into zen that I could use on one of their other servers or games - not cash.

    If I pay you to wash my car and you don't wash my car shouldn't I get my money back so I can pay someone else to wash my car?

    I did try PW-MY once way back when (when gold was still like in the 200-300k range on PWI lol). Made my lil cleric and checked out their AH to find gold at 1mil each, and back then that to me was a lot!

    Was before TB expansion too if I'm remembering right also. I could probably find it again, would be worth a shot at least if PWI went down. Then I'd drag all my friends there and we'd be a happy family haha. A few of them actually played that version before coming here so, it would be a rather easy transition for them I'd imagine.

    Same as in pwi, most wanted are tankers (stonemen) and healer (heretic) .If you create a stonemen alt as a tanker and you choose scavenger job (Decomposing gear) then you will get many drops from many instances to decompose them and get extra money :D
