LAG in Lothranis server. Pls helps us!

Hi, me and my friends have lag on Lothranis 150-350 ms, this is not normal on the US East servers we have the same ping, we are from Romania,Germany,England.
On the first EU PW server we had 40-60 ms, why is this diferent it's the same continent ,maby the same county or server or machine i dont know.
All i know is we need some help to solve this problem.
On the MyPW server they gave us another ip to conect and it worked.

    150-300ms isn't lagging, 1k+ms is lagging, discontinue your hopeless complaint and deal with it.

    If you really think you're having issues, post the output of a traceroute to the server and your ISP information and how your computer is connected on your local network.

    Seriously though, if you think that's lag, quit playing MMO's

    To those above saying that 350ms I say BE SERIOUS. Any playable mmo is about having max 100ms no matter where you're from. If u don't have that ping then choose another option then yes, change the server or chose another game. But frankly why do someone need to change the server after they spent some good cash in this game, and on top of that to realise that there are server with the same lag on another continent.
    Belive me it's not the ISP when u have the same ping from europe and china servers. It means the usa or asian ones work better or the company has problem with their ISP provider.
    Back to the topic of hand the question was to the admins to see if there is any way around this lag not to some flamers who don't anything to do but randomly comment on the forum.

    the only ways you could "improve" your lag, (given that it's not something on your end), is by using one of those proxy services that can supposedly guarantee a better route for your connection than the one you currently have. (they still can't control the connection between you and them though.

    The point is that there are MANY hops between yourself and the game servers. Lag is generated at those hops. There isn't anything you or the company can truly do about it. It's the internet. It's life.

    Post a traceroute and I can show you where your lag comes from, then you can call them and complain.

    If you knew any of this, you would not be asking the admins how to work around something that they have absolutely no control over. If you look at 90% of my posts you will see that I am very helpful most of the time and try to help people work around issues like this.

    But truly, complaining about a ping that shows 300 on an MMO like PW is just silly. If it was a P2P title, then yes, they should have their ISP set up to some elite standards. But that still doesn't change the latency on all the routers that happen to fall between you and the company. This is a F2P game. They don't even spend time and money on fixing bugs or having GM's that can actually close support tickets. They aren't going to fix your laggy connection for you.

    The server Ip's put them in the SV list and you can chouse the server with les lag

    It works to a point. I used to do that, but then discovered that in the long run it didn't make any difference. The server with the best ping when you log in can end up being the server with the worst ping in 5 minutes.

    In the long run it makes no difference. And seriously, unless you're hardcore PvP, anything under 500ms in-game is good.     (I would like to note that the in-game ping is lagged by server delay in the response and it is not accurate for calculating your actual ping. My ping is rarely above 78, yet in-game it often shows in the 350's.)
    Also, if you want hardcore PvP, this isn't the game for it.

    100% the servers aren't in Europ, i tanlked to alot of people in game and everybody has 150-350 ms, so.....b:byeb:byeb:bye pw

    I play around 450 ms and that isnt laggy at all only when it gets over 1k is when I start to lag and your complaining 300 is laggy? you need to get some fresh air and see the ball of light in the sky for once...
    If I had a nickle for everytime someone thinks Im a girl because I play a veno with max bust Id have my legendary pets by now... Sorry pervs Im a guy veno get used to it b:laughb:pleasedb:laugh
