Guardian Demonfire

I was killing guardian demonfires for the quest trial by fire. I killed 9 then some monster that looks like a person that has a red name killed me with one hit! The monster is called ~removed~. Does anyone know what it is?

    dw it was a character -_- but how could a character kill me? o.o we werent in a duel or anything

    you should visit the forums more often b:chuckle

    I don't remember what the hell is that quest but if you need to go into Secret Passage, be aware that, for now, is a free PK zone, that means that everybody can kill you even if you are a blue name.

    Supposedly the devs are gonna revert the situation but when? Nobody knows b:surrender

    Um, most people know about the reversion.. They put up a sticky about it and everything, it's being reverted in a few weeks supposedly.

    But yea, until then SP is a forced PvP zone, there is a room off to the left with 4 demonfires in it that you can use to farm them, since the center room is usually a pvp zone where many high levels gather. You may either have been hit by an area of effect skill by accident or possibly on purpose because the person was a jerk, hard to tell without talking to them.

    just an update on this quest, in case someone need it:

    now you can find the guardians demonfire outside Secret Passage, there are 6 of them guarding one of those chests that can't be opened near hidden orchid valley.

    The quest itself autopath you to them and if you put "guardian demonfire" on the ingame encyclopedia it will do it too.

    I don't know if they always have been there, I just discover this today on my wizzie because I was waiting for the SP reversion to do this quest.

    Anyway, I hope this helps!

    They've been there. That's why many of the higher levels wanted to keep the PK zone, because necessary quest mobs could be found outside the instance. However, it appears that the devs finally saw sense (or the Chinese playerbase complained too much) and it will be fixed back to what it was before.
