ok how on earth is a squad of six lvl 19-20s going to beat this boss in the untamed fb19 cave. he 2 shotted our tank, and moved on and yes, ONE SHOTTED, our cleric. i demand pwi make aps available for earlier levels please! b:angry

    The idea is you're supposed to attempt it with help, or at slightly higher levels. I personally did my fb19 in a squad of people in the late 20's, and we did fine. Don't expect aps to bail you out, it's enough of a crutch at endgame, we don't need the challenge of this game ruined any further.

    Just go one less people in lvl 19-20 range and get a higher tank.. <.<

    Although it must be possible, cause at the start of PW, who u think tanked him ? No one was over 20 when the 1st ones to see that dingeon went.. They either waited or had very good teamwork.
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    I've heard that venos can solo Rend at lvl 25 with a tank pet. But I've never tested it. Only real advice I can give is to get someone a bit higher lvl to help you.

    You might test out the solo at lvl 25 theory then.

    He 2 shot your tank, what was the cleric doing? Even low lvl IH spamed heals an impressive amount. I never had any trouble with that boss on my barb or veno when they were low lvls long ago. So either your cleric was new to the game (which is possible) or your tank had a horrible build (going aps barb early?) b:chuckle

    Lvl 20 barb with 5 vit, around 55 str and 55 dex ? Now that would be hilarious...

    In BH I would agree with you, but FBs are more of a standard rite-of-passage. We all felt pretty worthless our first time through an FB. Just do what you can to contribute.

    Untamed fb19 was the first fb I ever did in closed beta. I was only like level 15 myself and even then we did just fine...

    Even though I know the OP is trolling (endgame is boring for barbs, I hear), I can indeed confirm that a well-geared venomancer can solo Rend, though at about 25-26 you do nothing but spam heal.

    Around 30 is when you can start tossing in a few scarab spells to speed it up.

    A duo of venos could do it at level 19, both healing the same pet.

    calm down. the normal way all the FBs are done is with a full squad of players usually 10 or more levels higher than you, *who know how to play their class.** At least, this was how we did it when i started the game...and it was WAY more fun than having some hyperactive assassin kill the boss in a couple of swipes.

    when my FB19 was done for my cleric, the barb was so funny...someone had gotten killed, and back then, everyone was around the same level, so the cleric couldnt res...the person had to go to town and run back in. while we waited, the barb, who was much higher in strength and vitality than the rest of us....plus a bramble...laid down and acted like the big scorpion was tickling, flip flopping and making laugh faces all the while. back then, we didnt worry about APS or fancy armour...we were here to have fun!


    try it....its what games like this are for, especially at the low levels. relax, enjoy the beautiful graphics and music!

    its literally not possible to do fb19 with a squad of lvls 19-20 unless APS and even then it'll be hard!

    If Rend Razorjaw is a pain Bearish, wait until you meet the Wyvern in fb51 and Polearm in fb69.

    dont you read answers to your posts? go read mine, written in this same colour, and you will find out that you doing it the wrong way. you are rushing the gate, so to speak. you need higher levels to tank and heal for you. if you were on HT, i would help you. but if you go to either outside the cave (in a safe place) and wait and ask for help, or go to City of the Lost and hang around the blacksmith or other major NPC, asking in public or World Chat for help, you should get it
