Need advice..

Hi!

After having quit this game for a loong time I'm now back to play once again.Alot has changed since I've been gone.I have played mainly Veno lvl 72 in Dreamweaver but also a Mystic lvl 62 with I dont even know how I got to that level :S.I started in new server (European-Momaganon) and started a veno and Mystic at almost same lvl (both in lvl 40).I have been indecesive about which class to go for so It would help to get some feedback after reading this thread,I would truly appreciate it.

I know how to play veno and know my job,BUT the Herc and Nix makes me wanna quitrage my veno because ofc I want my class to reach It's full potential.When I do get Herc Ill have to lvl it up in cube which I dont have the patience for.

I LOVE the Mystics because It's a challenging class since I've never been a support class,no need to level pets,no need to feed them and off course the HEAL <33.The only thing I hate is the mana drain but since im a good farmer and do Apothecary items makes me think I'll be just fine.

I still wanna be veno due to it can solo alot of stuff like FB,BH,TT's and other instances and make a lot of money.No need for meditation (never runs out of HP or MP).Purge and amplify ofc!
If I do get a herc,what Is the easiest and cheapest way to get it?Sell gold and buy in coins or buy with gold?

Now to the question..
Would I still be good being a veno with just a Herc without a Nix?(Im not good in pvp)
Or should I stay as a Mystic being an huge manaeater and have to meditate quite often if not charmed or learn the path as a support character which im NOT used to at ALL??

    Hm I got both a 95 mystic and 101 veno and I love them both to bits.

    Venomancers... rock at soloing with low costs. Your pet tanks, you attack or debuff. Yes, I seen some very good venos without a herc. But if you really want to play the class to the fullest: get one. lol Best time is a sale like now, wait for some herc tickets to appear on the market from the surprise pet boxes. I don't play on your server but on sanc you can get them as cheap as 70mil sometimes.
    Venos solo well, but they're also liked in squads. You can throw lots of debuffs and your pet can tank if needed.

    Mystics... good soloing too, the self healing and your other skills make you very powerful. And you got higher damage than a veno which is more of a support class. But mystics are in no way cheap. I swear, I eat mp food like candy lol
    Also, you will find yourself tanking lots of things, cause summons are squishy and sometimes better used for their stun/DD.
    Your role in squad is pretty much DD and back up healer if needed. Or you could be main healer for some things. And clerics love your buff and a helping hand in tough situations <3

    The major difference between the two classes seems to be that even without big cash or much player skill, veno can do a decent job. Mystics really shine if you're smart, if not then you're gonna fail horribly. Though I admit mystics are a bit head breaking sometimes lol Drop this plant, take care of your summon, keep the tank alive, summon this, plant that.. b:shocked
    I'd say if you want to directly help a squad by healing in ermergencies, go with the mystic. My first char is a cleric and that's the only thing I hate about my veno: If stuff goes wrong you can only watch people die.

    Tbh I love the duo of both classes the most. I usually have my veno tank while mystic beats the hell out of stuff. Makes stuff go so fast <3 Both of them used smart are really really scary lol

    Hi! Thanks for the fast reply b:pleased.
    I like to DD,Solo,Farm,TT and Instances.Like I said..I'm only used to just do DD so thats why I'm not really used to being Mystic and have the support job.The only thing about being veno is if if I role as one now,I'll get my herc at very high level and have to level it up in cube which I dont wanna do...spending days in there makes me crazy and I dont have the patience for that.

    What I meant was...If I role as veno and got me a Herc and not a Nix,will she still be wanted in TW and squads?And is it really worth getting the herc and have to level it up to lets say lvl 90 b:cry???

    obviously u don't know your job as veno in parties, because veno is a support class too...

    You mostly need a herc for squads. Nix can't enter caves or dungeons anyway.
    Herc is pretty useless in TW though, that's where nix shines lol

    And yep, it's 100% worth it to level that pet.
    It's a pain, I got my both past 90 too, but it's completely worth it if you love the class.

    Sorry for not bringing up venos job,yes veno is a support and DD class.Debuffs and all that.As a veno in squad I'll give them my reflect,send sparks,amplify on bosses.

    Support class / dd class -lol.

    All classes have support and dd roles. Mooch bag venos just like to get into good squads by selling their cheap butts as support.

    Gotta love it when a non cleric toon with less than half the DD requests a Lending Hand.
