Since wild packs came out in the boutique, i think the only thing that has gone off sale is the fash

any particular reason for this ?
still hoping people pay 1 gold for an anni pack ?

its just odd, i thought the new sales are supposed to replace the old one

    Welcome to post-pack PWI!

Before packs and chest of coins, sales actually meant sales. They were consistent, but rare and varied enough that it wasn't always getting shoved down our throats. Nowadays.... well... they're constant, easy to predict, and pretty much never end.

I have been here quite a while, thank you 0.o
this did not start until a few weeks ago, where they give sales with no end date, and just keep them up indefinitely

sure, we had some items on sale for 4-6 weeks at a time, but you knew it was going off sale, and when ( except when they were raking in the cash, and extended sales )

it seems they have gone away from this now, to these open ended sales

    I know how you feel.

I'm 2 days away from my check and was exploring what to charge Zen to get.

50 silver for a pack with 60% total chance to have a flawless, 26% of 15 mirages and 10% of p stones is extremely tempting...

    *insert sarcasm*
Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

I'm guessing that the "particular reason" is that a lot of these are left over 3rd anniversary sale items, so those sales are lasting longer. We'll probably see most items vanish or return to normal prices next month.

since the socalled 'anniversary packs' have been on sale from their inception, it seems that the better packs have a shelf life of a week or less. Clothes, its more like adding to the closet, and i for one look forward to seeing the new additions, hoping to see some of the outfits i see in the chinese part of ecatomb.

Remembers when we had random Sunday 1 hour sales on rare mounts/items. Those days are long gone. All we get now is permanent pack sales b:shocked

Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.

Whoa whoa whoa, wait, let me get this right.
Packs - are not something that actually expires, lying on shelves of an offline shop, are they?
They are computer-generated virtual reality that can be either generated my any second in any number, or taken away from the existance for ever.
They are just 1's and 0's, that exist if there's a wire with electric power in it, aren't they.
    Mkay?

Now, did I really mess up understanding what you said correctly, or you really did say "left overs"? : ))))

Yes, you did misunderstand me. I mean that the sales are "left over" (meaning "remaining" or "a vestage") from the anniversary celebration. (Note that I said "they", meaning "the sales", were "left over", not "left overs".)

"Left over" or "leftover" has two different meanings. You were assuming I meant definition #1, while I actually meant definition #2. (Note: Stupid video will play if you click that link. Possibly a popup too. Sorry.)
