    How to kill game:
    1) Release lots of great gear through some great sales, pissing off the people that got it the hard way. 5% of players gone.
    2) Release the same gear for an even lower price, alienating the people that paid the previous sale price. 10% of players gone.
    3) Rinse and repeat as necessary over 3 years. 25% of players gone.
    4) Suddenly have a crisis of logic and decide that you never should have bottomed out the prices and let everyone and their mother +12 their gear and so decide to JACK UP ALL THE PRICES and remove any semblance of interest in ANYTHING in the cat shop!     50% of players gone.
    5) Yay! Bad sales! Cheap gold! Oh wait... nothing to spend it on...

    The game is old PWI. Some of us still like it, but trying to revert back to not-so-great sales at this point is too late. Just give some good sales and let us PK the hell out of each other.

    My 2 cents, consider donating it to charity...
