hmm so atm gold is at a veerry low point atm compared to what it was the past few days and im just curious about who is buying gold atm? PWI made the packs/orbs more expensivee to expand the lifespan of this game (?) but i cant see how this is working. because of their stupidity gold was over 3m at some point ( 2 12* orbs for 100 gold that sell like 150m each now?) and around 1,5m when the new packs came out so at the moment i feel like buying gold is a huge waste because im used to higher prices. and if they rise the prices for r8 and r9 im definately not gonna buy any more gold because it definetaly would feel like i got ****ed over.

i would never charge money on a f2p game so they have to make it p2p for me to charge (pay monthly fee) but what amazes me most is so many say nope but pwe still gets thousands off USD a day off ppl charging100% F2P legit 105 since starting this game. Been playing this game since CB, on several diff servers. I cs'd on all of my previous chars, started this char shortly after 2x event started.
Vowed to not charge zen on this char. I like this game, but until PWE decides they want to properly run this game, I won't give them any more of my hard earned money.

you could say we got to greedy to if you look when 10* orbs came they where 75 gold each so 50 gold is stil a 33% sale instead off a 75% sale from what you jsut said you say cmon i am greedy i want cheaper and cheaper orbs if i dont get it i dont charge

dude read the ****ing thread before you post. this is not about greed nor is it about bashing PWI. i started playing this game in 09 when gold was 300k and less and i had no problems with it. this is about PWI's tactic to increase the lifespan of the game which is failing badly imo and thats what the poll is for. i hope most of those 18 "nope" voters werent complete ******* and read the thread before they voted, so this poll shows that im not the only one that feels like PWI isnt successful with their life extending plan.

I love how people assume that the majority of the voters never cs'd before. Or on the flip side of that, that cs'ers are arrogant, greedy people.
PWE's decision to adjust their marketing to 'extend the life of the game' (which isn't even a direct quote from a legitimate source from PWE), has nothing to do with the fact that people perhaps are not cs'ing that much.
People cs'd before the marketing team went on a ballistic sale craze at insanely low prices. The game was still very much alive and doing well, financially and statistically.
However, many are upset (duh) at the lack of motivation the company has to fix issues within the game.
Therefore, many people have simply reduced or stopped cs'ing all together.
Except those that just want to pawn noobs (lol) on the internet to make up for their lack of insecurity (again, an assumption that is often incorrect....sometimes)
To answer the raging OP's question, no, my halt in cs'ing has absolutely nothing to do with PWE's supposed 'change of direction' in marketing. It has everything to do with how the company is ran, and oh yeah, the economy on a global scale as well.

economics 101:
when demand is high, prices rise
when demand is low, prices decrease
when supply is high, prices decrease
when supply is low, prices rise
nobody wants anything from the current sale, but there's a lot of gold in the economy already; prices drop0 -
With the current sale prices, I don't believe I'm getting as good of value for my dollars spent. I did charge some last week because I had the extra cash and was hoping for good sales to spend it on. But with these prices, it's not worth it. And with gold prices having dropped as low as they have, I can't justify selling any. So the gold I charged will just sit on my account until they put up something for sale that I feel is a good enough price to buy.
Lately I've just been setting up my catshops and merchanting and playing some P2P games to occupy my time.
Despite its flaws, I still like PWI and enjoy playing it. I don't mind spending money on it, because to me it's about the same as spending money on a ticket to an amusement park or to see a movie. I know I won't *own* anything I buy, but I pay for it anyway because it provides me with fun and entertainment.
I know they want to "extend the life of the game" and I'm all for that, as I don't want to see the game get shut down any time soon. But IMO they should release new items that are higher priced/harder to obtain and keep the prices on older stuff at prices we're used to. The only thing I can see coming from these changes is creating a bigger gap between new players (yes, they do exist!) and older players. If newer players are going to have such a hard time playing catch up (either with RL money or having to farm coin) it's very likely that they won't even bother, and will just move on to another game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I charged $10, to get a reset note and a few packs.
I would like to see them add some more high level content and make quests worthwhile exp'wise at high levels.
The single biggest boom for PWI has been the dragoon glitch as it brought hundreds if not thousands of people to the level where they will buy R9 and charge gold to shard/refine
I bet statistically (on average) every time somone dings 100 it brings in $200 to PWI0 -

i have FastTrack cards from Walmart, but i am not going t use them until PWE gets off their thumbs and fixes the SP. this is beyond stupid.
long ago i became convinced that the powers that be have a mindset about the same as many of the brats that play the game, that of a child who defiantly will not do what it is asked by its parent:"NO! I wont do it, and you cant make me!", standing there lookng up with arms crossed. it takes us all to drag PWE,kicking and screaming, 'I WON'T do it, and you cant make me, so there!" to do what we ask, an what they **SAY** they will do. and just like a bratty child, they are dragging this out longer and longer....but they sure as hell have the computational ability to add more **** to the GS!

There will always be idiots who pay the prices they set it at, or people who just charge to get coins in game to buy stuff they can't get from boutique ie: shards. Why just last week someone on LC used a +12 g15 cube neck to make a g16 cube neck and charged however much it took to get the other 6 cube necks and then +12 the new g16 one. That's easily over a grand in charging just to get in game coins (from one person).Push me,
