I don't want to play, that is correct. But I also want my information removed for privacy reasons.

if you mean to get your info out of PWs database.......your SCREWED.
u could delete each char from the account but that takes 7 days. and they still have all the info that u have given them over the course of being in this game. NO WAY around that.

Well - that sucks. I suppose I'll get spam from them forever, as well. It's to bad I signed up. I tried it for like 5 minutes and knew it wasn't for me. Now I'm screwed for life for my mistake. Should have known. Makes me totally hate them.

I am a bit annoyed, that's for sure. I didn't expect to have to jump through hoops to delete my account, simply because I didn't want to play after trying it. Make sense?

    ^ this

to add to that... you do realise you can close your account or make a new email address, right? o.o And as far as i remember, the only things you give to pwi is your name, age and email address. no home address or phone number unless you charge zen. b:surrender

Why is it such a big deal to delete it? It's a free game, you can just stop logging in if you don't want to play it.

Actually, giving them false info is a terrible idea. If anything ever happens to your account (i.e. getting ****), and you gave false information, you won't be able to identify yourself as being the registered account holder. Good luck getting help in that case.

False doesn't meant *random info*.You can provide a false name and remember which name you gave(Keeping track of your internet registrations(With provided info),should be something common nowdays),you can provide a secondary E-Mail which you use when registering to trash sites and such. You can provide ANY info as long as you record it somewhere, false or not.

Off course I provided here 100% true info cause terms of services says so and even in case I did(Which isn't this case off course),I wouldn't be so stupid to state in forum that I did.

And when they ask you to send in a copy of your photo ID to prove you are the original account holder, what will you do? I don't know about you, but I'm not particularly great at making fake IDs.

Granted, PWE might not ask you to do such things (I don't know because I haven't been in that situation). However, other companies, like Blizzard and Square Enix, do, so it's not a huge stretch to guess that they might.
