A lot of people in my guild got emails saying 2x is extended, I think they're trolling but im waayyyyy too lazy to check, anyone get anything about dat?

    Huh, overwhelming success of a x2 event? I don't get what was "successful" about it, apart from the total obvious that people will abuse the hell out of it before it comes off, as, ya know, you get things done at double the speed?

    People are mad that some people "abuse" 2x, lol. Lots of people level up in FC, farm nirvy, TT, etc. during this time. It makes value for things go down (TT mats) and then people become greedy and don't even sell mats til 2x ends so they make the most profit... but I really don't understand how that can give so much backlash. I, for one, am gonna go grind some spideys now that I know it's extended and I don't work anymore giving me lots of free time. b:surrender

    maybe because of log-on stats they could determine it was a success?

    either way I love it, I dont care about the xp, but the double drops gives me a chance to make dollars to buy some nice gears one day,

    anyway another week of tt, here I come.....

    ohmahgawd I love that you guys decided to do this.

    Honestly, I used to be against 2x because it would cause a rise in gold prices.

    BUUUT....

    coupled with low key sales, this month-long 2x event has kept gold prices stable (dare I say dropping steadily? at least on sanctuary server), prices on TT and nirvana have gone down, and the mob item/coin drop helps lower levels afford this game and enjoy it more

    I am basing this on my own personal experience, I started a new cleric when 2x started, have not charged gold or done oracles/frost at ALL, just quests. I have been able to merchant good lowbie gear (which is severely lacking on Sanctuary), have been able to accumulated a pretty good amount of DQ, and have been able to enjoy the game.

    Gold has steadily declined, slowly, but steadily, even with the pack sales, ect. Give it another week or so, and we may (MAY) see gold at 1mil on Sanctuary, which isn't too bad considering how its been lately.

    I would be all for upping the xp/sp/mob drops in the world map to 2x permanently, then adjusting the instance xp in fcc and drops in nirvana to 1x like before. I think this may help balance out the economy and make the game somewhat enjoyable for newbs again.

    Then again, I am not in a business/economics major in college, so I may be talking out of my ***.

    Ok seriously dont you all think its odd that your are getin email notification of extra week of 2x exp drops etc when in tos it says never accept event or items in mail.. hmm seems to me something not right here.
