Assassins are generally considered overpowered so that might be one to choose. And Venomancers are good solo classes once you get a good pet. I would suggest one of those personally.

    Sins are overpowered.

I'd still choose cleric anyway. It is all about how you like to play.

I started a mystic when the new expansion came out and really enjoy it.
Plus you can heal yourself, use pets/summons and get the ressurect buff at lvl 19 which is handy since you often die a lot on your first char :P

lol so you go for all the good pvp chars lol, i prefer a Blademaster and cleric < both solo classes given you know how to use and build them properly, so i cant reall offer you any details coz i wouldnt betray the human and elf coalition lol.

    Define " The Best "
    1. The best to beat everyone = Commonly considered by community as overpowered class that beat other class easily and capable to do most task available in game to the point of almost totally replacing other class job

    2. The best for team = You didn't really want to play the class. But server community have high demand for that class.

    3. The best for yourself = You choose it because you like it. Simple as that.

Choose option 1 if you are perfectionist....

like everyone else said ur fishi race is overpopulated so unless u have coin to plvl enjoy a fun fun server to look for tank healer and such for bh at mid lv end game they might rock but i see more ppl having issue finding bh partys becouse more and more fishie and eg and less of the old classes.

    enjoy ur hallow fish status

Well, going with the fishies might be overrated. So its only seeker and assassinb:laugh

If you want to TW when you grow up dont pick a sin, there are too many of them and youll join a long line waiting for a TW faction to need one.

Assassin (pure build) - 1 str 4 dex/level. For greater survivability, reduce dex a bit in favor of vit. Wear light armor and use daggers (and occasionally bows.) Invest in life powders during the difficult early levels until blood paint starts to heal you enough it's no longer really needed.

Seeker - 5 str 3 dex/2 levels, 1 stat point/level free to apply to vit, str or dex depending if you want greater survivability, greater damage, or higher crit %/accuracy. Wear heavy armor and use sword/blade. After 59, you might want to shard turquoise for higher MP pool to maintain yataghan vortex (the seeker constant AOE skill, which sucks mana quick.)

Only a few people seemed to push for an informed decision, so here goes. Choose what you want, not which is powerful or wanted in a party. You'll have to stare at this character for hours and use its skills thousands of times. Grinding is painful with a class you enjoy; don't make it any harder.

    Original Classes

Wizard - Ranged magic damage dealer. They have the strongest one-hit damage in the game, but their cast times are slow, which makes soloing with them a very involved process of kiting. They seem to be rare in-game (at least on Dreamweaver).

Blademaster - Versatile physical melee damage dealer. They can choose what melee weapons to work with to suite a particular combat style (axes for heavy hits, fists for fast, lighter hits for example). Depending on their build, they can be tough enough to handle being the off-tank in a party during emergencies.

Cleric - Support and healer. A variety of different healing skills for different situations, buffs, and some metal damage skills. They are always desired in parties, partly due to the fact they are painful to play solo and therefore there aren't many who stick with it. Their damage, while ranged and magical, is pretty **** compared to most classes.

Archer - Ranged damage dealer. Of the original classes, they have the highest DPS (damage per second). They hit hard and can hit fast. You have a few support buffs to share, but most of your skills will involve dealing damage and perhaps inflicting a negative status. Archers are very rare in-game.

Barbarian - The de-facto tank. They are extremely tough. The skill tree is split into human form and the form of a white tiger, so you'll need to choose to deal more damage (human form skills) or to tank better (tiger form skills). Generally, people invite you to parties for your tank skills. Barbarians, like clerics, are in high demand. Choose this class if you take pride in being the only one hurt. Like the cleric, soloing as a barbarian is slow, especially if you are tiger form, because your melee damage is not up to snuff with the other classes.

Venomancer - Jack of all trades, master of none. They have the ability to tame monsters as pets to fight for them, and make the ultimate solo class. You can have a tank (pet), the healer (you), and arcane damage dealer (also you) all in one. Venomancers can typically handle squad-based quests by themselves, especially if they wait a few levels. In a party, your job will be to pull single monsters out of a crowd to ease the strain on the tank and cleric and to debuff monsters to make the kills go faster.

    Rising Tide Classes

Assassin - Melee physical damage dealer. Assassins have a lot of heavy hitting skills, fast attacks, and a very high damage output. They are fragile, however, and rely on evasion and their ability to absorb health from their targets to survive. They can turn invisible, allowing them to slink through groups of monsters or get the drop on people in PvP. Many of their skills inflict a bleed or debuff. They are widely considered to be overpowered. You'll have trouble finding parties because of the server saturation (they'll probably already have one in the party).

Remember, some monsters have AoE's. This can be a problem for assassins where it won't be for other classes (other classes are either tough enough to take it or far enough away to avoid it). I've seen assassins drop to AoEs that the blademaster and I didn't even notice.

Psychic - Ranged magic damage dealer. Psychics have very fast cast times, in contrast to the wizard. They have several skills based around punishing the enemy for attacking, either by reflecting damage, reflecting debuffs, or simply causing damage to it for attacking anyone. Because psychics have skills to increase and decrease their defense and attack levels, and because they almost always use Black Voodoo, which increases the attack level but decreases defense level, they are the squishiest class in the game, assuming similar gear to other equal-leveled casters. They seem to be rather rare in-game.

    Genesis Classes

Seeker - Physical melee damage dealer. They utilize swords exclusively, and have a lot of damaging, visually appealing attacks. They have a few very powerful buffs, but they consume Mirage Celestones, roughly equivalent to 11,000 coins per cast. While the damage output is good, the seeker burns through mana like an addict, and because of the stat requirements of heavy armor and swords, you won't have many points for vitality, causing you to be somewhat squishy compared to an axe blademaster or barbarian.

Mystic - Ranged damage/support and healing. The mystic is a cross between the venomancer and the cleric. They have pets to serve them in different roles, and can summon plants that act as area-based debuff or healers. The mystic herself can heal, as well, but not as effectively as a cleric: the mystic heals are instant and heal a good amount, but are extremely expensive mana-wise. This class is strong and good at its role, but it can't keep it up for very long. Like the seeker, be prepared to snort potions like you have a problem or to meditate after five kills.

Besides Jeigo's excellent descriptions, you can find out more about the various classes, including suggested builds, at the PWI wiki.

Magic character build(PVE) build would be pure(1 str 9 magic every 2 lvls). Archer and assassin build(PVE) pure build would be 1 str 4 dex. Old school all weapon blademaster build would be 3 str 2 dex every lvl(one I'm using on my bm currently and is working out well).

Also, best to check out the other parts of the forum for build ideas(like for the seeker and the barb, since there are all kinds of builds for those classes).

For a cost of money, there are reset notes in the boutique, which can be very expensive depending on the type of player you are, and how much you are reseting
