I cant sign in to my account keep telling me my client wants to be updated but i did that million time and it keep saying the same thing and i really want to get bk to playing & lvling

    I'm having the same/similar problem and I've posted a thread in the Technical Support Zone http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1193481 in the hope of getting some help. And it seems we're not the only ones with this problem b:sad

    At the risk of being flamed for stating the obvious - I say in good faith:

    Are you sure you've opened the 'launcher' and not the 'client'? The client is good to open the game when it is fully updated after maintenance, however the first log in after maintenance needs to be with the launcher.

    I patch and run the client after (standard user on my computer... so it's a habit) and I never have troubles so you should try a verify

    Damn...didn't think about trying a verify, that may well have worked. Resorted to an uninstall/re-install in the end, so I'm back up and running at least.

    To MageMERC: I always use the Launcher. Of course, I can't speak for the OP though.

    good sir, ill actually disagree with that. i used to have severe problems when patcher would not allow client to run. i had to patch manually and run client directly after patch without verify. so in a good faithed reply, you dont exactly need to run patcher after maint so as long as patch is done manually or automatically. though i do support your initial post.b:victory

    umm... that is patching it still none the less what he meant was without patching it you cannot run the client.
