rank rale

does anyone know when the next rank sale is? i jus thit level 100 on my archer and there is nothing really to do as i dont have r8 and i dont want to invest in gear and weps that ill replace by r8 stuff as soon as i can... in around 10 days i have to move to the army so if there is no rank sale comming up i will most likely not return to the game. does anyone have any ideas?

    after 100 there is really nothing to do if you do have R8, R9, or R100 for that matter. BH, Nirvana, help newbs. Repeat.
    The first week might be fun after that you just log in and find a place to park and watch WC.

    well if i have r8 i can work on ref and stuff:) but atm i feel useless.. i dont want to work on my bow or gear because i will replace it anyway so idk what to do... i am getting my sin to 100 now so i have a farm account (instead of complaining about OP sins i just make one;P) but if i miss the next rank sale (-> army) i really dont feel like comming back to the game

    This whole year we have been having a rank sale at the start of the month every other month.
    The last rank sale was at the start of august so the next sale is going to be at the start of october.

    Technically rep was never supposed to be buyable. PWE decided to sell rep cuz they wanted more money. If you look on other versions of PW no others have as many rank 8 and rank 9 as us. And thats because PWE decides to sell something that was supposed earned in game.

    Based on this:
    The devs' reasoning in this matter is that they are working on some new content involving gear, and they want to eliminate certain methods for obtaining Rank stuff, at least temporarily.

    I dont think theyll be back on sale, and if so I'll just lol at PWE's disrepect for the dev's wishes just to make money

    I'm confused at this part.

    Are you saying you will return to the game if there's a rank sale in the next 10 days -- whenever that is? Or the army won't let you play unless you have r8+?

    If you're this impatient just fork over the money for the extra high rep cost, or, if you're likely going to quit anyways, just enjoy the last 10 days and move on without bothering with r8. Or, if you were coming back, just come back and get the r8 then when you're back. Simple choices really.

    As if they can stop those rank sales b:chuckle
    It's too late now.

    Unless they want to make everyone who was working on getting rank 9 gear or planning on getting rank 9 gear when its released like the Earthguards quit.

    Without those sales you will have to spend years just farming chips to get one piece of the rank 9 set while everyone who bought their full rank 9 sets normally from the boutique is kicking your butt everyday.

    Go tell that to the Earthguards who can't even get their rank 9 gear yet.

    there are actually several slightly different threads all basically saying the same thing.

    Which is if they introduce a massive price/sale strategy thats different its going to unbalance the game even further an cause even more to quit than already have.

    I'm prety sure that having farmed enough for a rank 9 weapon an some armor during the last 6 months-saved in gold- if they come out with a sale like the orbs raising the price for me then imma just quit an go play another game. I am not so desperate or hooked on this one that I will stay an give them anymore money or time farming.

    theyll quit soon enough anyway, it's not like theres any end content on this game. I just lol everytime I see all the rank 9 people sitting afk in archo. They spend all that money on gear in a game with basically no content.
