Duplicating? how? why?

How are they doing this, some guy on my server traded me a potion, then i got booted and my stuff was gone? there's **** loads of tomes in AH.

whats going on?

    My friend aka Drakkonex in harshlands is a newbie to the game who started merchanting recently. He saw a shop which was selling Scented fungus for 1 mil and buying it for 2 mil (lol I know, weird). So he lol'd at the shop for a min, bought one scented fungus and tried to resell to the same shop. He could not. He has reported that to support, although they will claim $Hit, and say that it was'nt sort of a **** or smthing. But weird thing ARE going on in PWI. b:shocked

    Are you playing on a server besides HT or trolling? There are always that many low level tomes in the AH.

    The "duper" who exposed his method earlier didn't expose it for nothing. It was intentional. And it's true, that method doesn't work anymore...BUT...this will only lead to the development of easier and more sophisticated duping scenarios. The software is there. I know, because I have it installed.

    The Catshop player simply had a full inventory. That means you can't actually sell the items back to them, allowing for this scam.

    That is something that has been around for ages. The catshop person his inventory is full. Not a glitch/**** but a scam .-.

    Really, I think he should have stayed quiet about that..
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    If you read between the lines regarding what Abstractive is saying in his posts, you can get an inkling of what he means.

    At least, I think I do....

    Maybe not his posts solely in thread but in his recent posts in other threads too.

    b:laugh Real smart admitting to having something that can get you banned. Most online games now are updating their ToS to allow them to monitor other programs running on your pc while you are logged in. So such software that they have identified as hacking/cheating software they can see and ban you for. I don't think PWE has done this with their ToS yet but they may.

    Now I know you might out cry that's invasion of privacy and I agree. And of the 3 games I played online that I know made those ToS changes I stopped playing 2 of them. I keep playing the 3rd cause I really like it and I know they are doing what they have to to get the people cheating in that game cause it is really competitive.

    LeaderBell in RT server was selling Love up and down for 5 days, he sold about 10 or so..

    there is no "software" to dupe, it's exploiting coding flaws ingame

    if you downloaded and installed this mysterious duping hax, i highly suggest you scan your pc and change your password.

    There's a scam where someone offers to teach you how to dupe, only if you follow their instructions you actually end up with less than what you started with. Be smart, don't listen to these scammers.

    Closing this as it's turning into a "how do you dupe" thread, which is something that's not welcome here.
