    lol @ people who think they'd do emergency maintenance for "conspiracy sale" or don't know pricing of their own game / mistaken undersold orbs. Newsflash: you don't know how businesses work.

    Oh, and ask anybody who plays Beijing version of PW, they don't sell 11 and 12 orbs.

    the least they can do is tell us whats gonna happen to them, and not just leave us to speculation. Seems like the more pple immerse themselves in game developement (the pple who make the decisions) the dumber they get....

("Gold charms are permanent...", "When the new Nirvana gear arrives, you'll be able to transfer your refines to it...", "Please welcome our new forum mod...", "We've implemented Jolly Old Jones because it's a coin sink and will result in lower Gold prices...", "The sale will end on..." (repeated countless times), etc...)

    Sometimes they do make a genuine effort to make good on past mistakes, but sometimes they don't.

    What puzzles me most of all, though, is why they feel the need to lie at all. What's so horrible about telling the truth that makes lying preferable?

    They've done three "emergency maintenances" in the past in order to adjust boutique sales (re-added Packs, slashed Rep/Chip/Medal prices, removed Medals), so there's certainly already a precedent for it.

    On one occasion they admitted that's why they were doing it, and twice they lied and claimed it was for other reasons. So when it comes to the real reason for this 4th "emergency maintenance", the odds favour lying 2-to-1 based upon PWI's own words.

    Time will easily tell if they are lieing. If the orbs come back within a couple months, then it is the issue they mentioned. If they don't come back, then they lied.

    the clients werent crashing, their stock was.

    hence the emergency removal of the orbs.

    uhm no they wherent as +11 orb is 51.975+ 20 so 72 bucks for 1 and +12 is 51.975+40+33.75=126 gold for 1 as the post say (50% off!) would be 37bucks for a +11 and 61for a +12 as bulk its a little cheaper but thats always. Note those prices are it the former 1* orb sale

    was like 45 gold for 1 +11 or 99 gold for 3+11
    and 65gold for 1 +12 or 100 gold for 2 +12 somewhere close to that
    the 20 and 40 where for the +10 orbs needed to make a +11 or +12

    People said that cheap r8 would be "game-breaking" too. "Oh dear", the game is still here.

    What is game breaking in my opinion is allowing some people to jump on +12 orbs then removing them before others have an opportunity to purchase them, and give those people that got them basically a monopoly on +12 refines indefinitely.

    Lots and lots of people that are highly refining their gear will stop until it is known whether (if not when) those same orbs will return.

    If you are going to be relegated to second class status by the people that run this game allowing some players to access cheap refines but not allowing others to do the same, why would anyone bother to +10 their gear from now on? That's pretty darn expensive, and now it will be comparatively worthless against someone with all +12.

    Has there been an answer to this yet? From the current +10 orb sale, it looks like the op was right.

    I know that it is not typically done, but I think this is an exceptional enough circumstance to ask just what items are not going to be offered for sale at the same prices.

    If I am not going to be able to get Rank 8 like everyone else did, or +10/+12 my gear like everyone else did, but I am still going to have to compete with them - well lets just say I would rather not waste my time with this game any further.

    This current orb sale is borderline epic trolling. Also the orbs Mirage and Flame will never bein the CS again I can't 100% confirm this because I am not a dev/GM/w/e but I am also not an idiot and know a thing or two. This thread is boring someone close it lol.

    First of all the "crashing" that they are claiming the orbs caused has been happening to me for 6 months or so.... orb related.... I think not.

    Secondly PWE is all about making money. You put a $1700 (normal price) item on the boutique for $50 how are they making the money they want to. Either they put it on for a limited amount or they realized how much money they were losing and decided to make up an excuse of why they were removing them.

    Well. there have been many more people than you that would like some answer to this question, and I for one am not in a hurry to even buy another charm for this archer if rank and +10/+11/+12 orbs are absolutely never coming back at the same prices.

    The least they could do is say "we have no plans on returning those items to the cash shop" so we don't end up leaving the game just off some blow hard barbs uninformed blathering.
