Exactly. But you have to be lucky and CS. Like making 2 91+ genies and selling them for 700m then buying gold for 1.1m each (right before the anniversary) and buying 300+ Plat HP charms then waiting for gold to go up and sale to go off and reselling them for 3-5m each :D

    Mmmmmmmm profit.

Downside? I have like 8 chars filled bank/inventory with charms such a pain to keep restocking too.

I thought it was just the server winners?

Edit- Erm...my mistake. Seems they stated in the original announcement post that only the team that went to China would be getting stuff.

From what I heard, the US team strategy was all wrong because they were used to having OPd gear and APS. Susamajii even mentioned in the interview they planned on using 2 Venos ...WTF??? They didn't have a single Archer and in the first Final match the Korean team had 2 Archers that essentially wasted them before they even knew what was going on. I seriously think not all US players are that stupid, we just have been relying on OPd equipment and the ability to power-level too much.

Seriously do none of you know how to tell time? I used my debuff skill 6 or 7 times in one match that is a 30 second cooldown that's at least 3 minutes. I swear if you are going to troll do it better.

Our strategy wasn't that bad just didn't work together and our EP never bothered to practice with us so teamwork wasn't good at all. Infact I was the only one on the server every day pvping with the other teams. Cheze was on too but I was on there everyday. They didn't tell us about the PWIC weapons either. These weapons were so ridiculously OP for caster's and shet for melee. We coulda had two people switch to archer too because they knew how to play the class, but by the time we figured out sins were garbage they wouldn't let us switch.

We also weren't told that the 7th person on the team could buff the party even though they weren't going to be in the match. This rule was told to us literally 5 minutes before our first match. That would have changed our strategy on classes as well. We didn't have any really OP geared active archers for Lost City's tournament or we woulda took one.

There was alot of things that PWI didn't tell us but that's because China didn't tell them anything. Hell, Japan got disqualified because of China's lack of communication about the rules. I think they wanted their team to win so they didn't tell the other teams shet till the last minute.

QQmore if u didnt know the rule u ever thought about asking for the rules and lmfao as 'but by the time we figured out sins were garbage they wouldn't let us switch' sin have always been useless in group pvp why because sin is primarily a solo pvp class in group pvp a sin is nothing more than another target, and tbh catalyst would of done way better in the tournament as they has a far better squad set up and its only by luck triforce killed harpy 20seconds fast imho

@Raigata: Very, very idiotic comment to make. I bet you also usually enter competitions and expect not to be told about the rules. Naturally after realizing that you didn't know the rules, you also believed that you shouldn't feel disadvantaged at all.

This is entirely normal procedure at events of any scale.

theres nothing idiotic about saying 'if he didnt know the rules he should of use a little initiative and went to find out the rules but clear he did not do that', and as for being at a disadvantage that was entirely their own fault, because he didnt ask for the rules, after all it not rocket science to send a ticket in saying 'hey, we the us-pwic finallist havnt receive the rulings of the tournament yet can we have them forwarded to us ASAP' if he did something as simple as that im sure he they wouldnt of been at a disadvantage.

Rofl you are an idiot for assuming we didn't ask the rules. We asked every single day and our GM gave us one thing then it changed then it changed again. For instance: We were allowed to use genie gear but only from the Watcher of the Skies NPC couldn't farm any of it. This rule was told to us about a week before the tournament. The day of the tournament about an hour before the matches started we were then told by our GM no genie gear is allowed at all. We asked several times about many different things and our GM could not answer us sufficiently because China was not telling him anything. Proof of the lack of communication was how Japan got disqualified because of the genie gear rule.

So don't assume that we didn't ask for the rule before we went in. We asked if we were allowed to have interval gears and our GM didn't know until after the characters were made (which meant we couldn't switch class) I even asked on the thread of the PWIC round up if we could switch classes (because we knew a full r9 sin would be useless without interval). There were alot of letdowns as far as communication went. Can't blame our staff they tried to get the rules to us China was just non-compliant.

Well it would be nice if someone in the team posted a full rundown of what really happened. There is little to no information, only a bit here and there. PWI/PWE obviously isn't going to share how they screwed up and embarrassed the US to the rest of the world.

Truly I was rooting for you guys and it actually looked like you might have a chance from the "practice" videos that Frankie posted. But after that, the news coming from the Finals was just embarrassing.

Instead of Trolling you should be garnering support for a petition to have PWI get their act together for future competitions.

BTW, is there anywhere we can find videos or English info on the Finals? I checked YouTube and I can't find any of the Finals.

This is actually a pretty common thing that happens when foreign companies try to do business in China: Chinese companies are given extra information about projects and bidding which they don't make available to any foreign companies competing for the job. Therefore, China maintains the appearance of being open to international trade while still keeping all of their money inside their borders.

Didn't your team beat China easily in one of the practice matches?

Yeah we beat them with 3 men standing in a 5v5 match. Their team was pretty pissed about it too. Honestly I don't think it was PWI's fault in this case. Not sure what someone means by wanting a full rundown. We asked about the rules everyone was allowed to buy gear from NPCs in frostcover fb51. But the gear in there didnt work right when you refined or socketed it all the added stats went away like no mdef from heavy nirvana helm and sturf, but the set bonuses still worked. They had to put full rank9 in everyones inventory to get the stats to work right.

Everyone was given a weapon token that they could turn in for a pretty ****ty GM/Warsoul Wep. The melee ones were terrible the magic ones were amazing. Basically they didnt tell us about these weapons at the start, Frankie told us about 2 weeks after the server was up and by that point we weren't allowed to switch classes.

They didn't tell us the 7th player could buff the party even though they were not in the match. We woulda had our psy go to 7th slot to buff the EP and 2 of our players woulda switched to archer class zzz..

Not sure what the China team was the one we fought was.. archer, mage, mage, psy, veno in the 5v5 match.. All of them had the PWIC wep with purify spell on it. Has a like 33% chance to purify you of all debuffs, make you anti stun for 5 seconds, and double your run speed for 5 seconds. Well all magic classes could get that except Psychics.

As for the rest of the teams not sure. Korean team seemed pretty good. We played the Brazil team they were pretty bad we beat them 5v6 without one of us dying..

China really seemed like they wanted their team to have an advantage not to mention they have this arena in game already in China and knew how to use those orbs floating around pretty well.

It definitely seems like they knew about the caster classes' advantage and the bad melee weapons from their team composition; I can't imagine any other reason to even consider not bringing a BM and a Barb.
