i'm coming back i've been gone from this game since 2008 but i've been follwing the updates so i have a clear idea of what's going on how's the population?

    lol really? Yeah youll be quitting again soon. The population is alot lower theres not really that many new people. Most low levers are just peoples alts. This game is a total mess compared to how it was in 2008/2009. I wouldn't come if I were you, but you'll see.

    hey give me a break i really miss this game even if it does suck now i'll still play it unitl the servers go down and if it bores me i'll just play forsaken world, jade dynasty, or heroes of three kingdoms. also it's been a long time since i last played i just want to start fresh

    hotk has been abadoned by pwe just to let ya know XD, and forsaken world was/is an overhyped game that never lived up to all the hype. Jade Dynasty is a pretty much cut n paste lamer version of pwi lol. If pwi bores you then fw, jd, and hotk will bore you even more lol. But pwe does have the new game Rusty Hearts thats actually a fun game.

    You could not possibly. Items available at that time did not allow for extreme pwrlvling, & your perfect world is still viewed at whatever your max character lvl was/is.

    My best advice would be to make some friends in this forum, spend a lil or do free zen rewards, & totally roll new character(s). New chars not only because of the totally new format, expansions, newbie items, but also because i'll bet just turning the camera will take some refreshing.

    Also, if you don't already have a facebook account i highly recommend to make one for the Jone's or O'malley's Blessings.

    Geez guys, I think we gave our pseudo-newbie here the right amount of caution. Let's not be TOO depressing on her. >_>

    The "old game" from 2008 is still very much playable. You just have to pick and choose what you indulge in and what you don't. Hyper-head-buying and purchasing r8/aps gear is a pretty sure way to make your new Archer a supremely uninteresting clone of roughly ten billion other people. -_-

    The old game may be playable, but the community isnt. Playing the old game means playing almost entirely alone for the most part nowadays :(

    Hey there.

    Many things happened since 2008 and I certainly hope you love PWI for details most of the playerbase (at least all the silly ones that brag on world chat or spend most of their time arguing about trifle matters in these very forums) is not even caring about.

    As for myself, I aim for a very slow, most considerate character leveling and wise coin spending (which is even truer these days). I focus on the game and not much else.
    I don't follow others (I about never squad anymore), I am not salivating at all when I hear about heavy cashshoppers who have reached the cap or got this and that alone or in their faction, or soloed whatever bosses.

    I certainly hope you will have fun playing as the new classes, because it's a bit of added fun.

    Before you do that, you should go to the PWI 2011 Anniversary Rewards page and get any anniversary rewards you've earned from having an account that old.

    Also, regarding server populations, PWE doesn't publish that information, so anyone saying that there are more or less people than before are just guessing. It should be noted that they've kept adding new servers since 2008, so there are almost certainly more players overall, though they may be more spread out. In other words, it's still hard to say if any particular server from 2008-9 has more or less players than back then.

    Wow, really? I've made a psychic yesterday and so far, I've had a squad for pretty much every quest I do. On my mystic and sin, I'd constantly have to solo everything, but now it's just...weird. b:chuckle

    I just want to come back to perfect world online i thought about doing the other games but i just decided to stick with one and that was PWI.

    im only speaking for myself here..since the majority of the "older" players just QQ bout how much its went to ****...and sadly i DO agree...but i will say this.... I still find this game really fun, since i quit for a about a year and just came back...just realize and understand that its NOT the same game as it was back then..but if u dont focus on HOW BADLY u want it to be the way it used to be....its still fun to play
