Sage/Demon Skills?

Okay I am curious about how sage and demon skills work... I was looking at the drops from the FB89 bosses and apparently the only tiger form skill you even have a chance of getting is true form? Do I seriously have to wait until FB99 to even think about getting shapeshift intensity or beast king or any of the other skills that come available to me at 89?

The bosses drop garrotte and stomp of beast king too.. but wow those skills kinda suck in my opinion and I spend almost my entire time in tiger form cause I like it ... Hopefully I won't only be able to get one skill the entire way from 89-99.. Please let me know about it if anyone here has information

Also it seems that if that is the only way to get the books.. sage isn't very worthwhile until 99 .. the main reason i want sage is the 120% pdef from shapeshift

    i have given up on the whole sage demon planning untill i get there. from what i understand you will be able to get those skill the same way you gotthe others.

    btw i was thinking of going sage but idk now seems like a wast to do either really.

    i know they require books .. like the lvl 79 skills.. except they don't use the same pages that the level 79 skills use and I don't even know if you can collect pages to create the 89 skills

    reason I am asking is because it might influence my sage/demon choice.. because yea if I can't even think about getting the 120% pdef from sage until i'm 99 .. i might just go demon to see a more instant benefit from the damage in tiger form .. 89 to 99 is a long road

    Im going sage for the insane survivability :D and the unparalled catapult pulling abilities. I realize im not even close to 89, but idc. gotta plan ahead!

    as for what drops each skill book, i have no idea :S i know i want flesh ream, true form, and shapeshifting intensity to start.

    yea but, according to PWDatabase, True form is the only skill you can get at 89.. the books drop from FB89 bosses.. and there are 3 of them.. the barb skills that drop in the sage FB are true form, garrotte, and stomp of the beast king.. only one of which is at all useful to me ..

    The other skills that become available at level 89.. don't even have a chance to drop from bosses below FB99 .. there is a Barbarian skill book listed on pwdatabase that gives a random skill but you need to trade in mysterious pages (50 of them) for it.. and I don't even know what mysterious pages are.. and they aren't easy to get seemingly

    Looking at the mysterious page.. it drops from nothing and is a reward from lotterys and... new player packs?? why would new players need pages to make level 89 skills

    It drops from fb99 bosses only and at a pretty dang low rate at that along with all other skill books

    Now I also want to go sage for the added tank.. but not being able to get shapeshift intensity (120% increase pdef) till I am able to farm FB99 is very disappointing.. Now I have no idea how accurate pwdatabase is.. so thats why i posted here hoping for higher level input from the people who have done it

    Also personally I wouldn't go for flesh ream that early on.. the 5 reduced chi really isn't that useful because you can build up chi fairly quickly while never fearing losing aggro.. now I must admit.. the added bleed damage is insane going up to the sage level.. but I was thinking going sage beast king first .. another added 5% hp and you only have to rebuff it once an hour

    okay i've figured out some more info on the sage/demon skills.. completeing the cube of fate at 90+ gives you pages of fate which can be traded for a random skill ..

    you need 30 pages for a skill book:

    It seems that this only gives the lvl 99 skills though

    One of the biggest bonuses for a sage barb is the axe and hammer mastery which looks like it can be crafted with axe and hammer mastery pages. Does anyone know where 'axe and hammer mastery pages' come from?

    not a clue.. but if you look at the forges in rebirth they have skill book forges for it.. so i'm hoping rebirth 86+ drops them.. but this is just speculation

    Ok brief overview. There only 3 89 skills that drop in fb89 are true form,stomp of the beast king and garrote. Only the 79 skills can be made from apocalypse pages. Your lvl 100 skill is crafted from chrono pages. 4 of your later skills can be gotten from pages of fate. which you get from finishing cube at 9x not looking at them atm but think they are onslaught,sunder,frighten, and perdition 3 of which are 99 skills onslaught is a 92 skill. Also every skill has a chance to drop in fb99 or 109, bu its rare and only like a 1% chance to drop.

    pretty sure you can't get onslaught from pages of fate.. its sunder frighten perdition and strength of titans which are all lvl 99 skills if i remember correctly

    in my earlier posts in this thread it has a pwdatabase link showing all of the ones from pages of fate

    HI all , well sinice all of you talking about skills and how to get it i will give all info that i know


    since we are barbs alot of things are eazy to get there is few ways to get your demon or sage skills



    you can do cub daily to get ( page of fate ) with 30 pages you can make random skill , if you got the same skill again you can sell it and get your money back


    second way is the (GV) from GV you can get (old book pages) with 20 pages you can make 1 random skill

    the skills that you can make with (cube pges) is not the same that you can make from (GV pages)

    last way is to farm BH 89 allways like run every day and also you can get skills from the last boss and BH 99 SOT , Abaddon skills are dropble there too


    if you dont want all this you can get (330 Advanced page) from the (boutic agent) and you get most of the barb skills

    haha yes you can get the pages there but you guys know the pwi boutique agent? with tokens of luck you can make all those pages and gamble and hope for the good skill im almost 89 and go sage cause of more hp and the super def most barbs turned demon ijs but thats not really good if you dont use fists most barbs who go demon use fits cause they had to much dex i had to much dex to but i reset it :) now i pown everyone i lvlved all skills to 10 exept the stupids like swell and gargotte but for sage skill books use tokens of luck to get pages and then gamble skills cost some... :( b:cry but you get something back for it b:victory and i got faction with DKP bank so i can buy books there go look for that kin faction :P to buy those books or gamble
