Did anyone notice that in the middle of packs, refines, bug fixes and random chatter we have a new event? I'm a little surprised that nobody has mentioned it yet.

Anyone have an idea on how will it work or any interesting comments you'd like to throw out there about the event? It sounds interesting! Discuss b:avoid

    It has already existed once..

    You get a player lvl 19-60 as squad leader, any other players can be up tp 105.

    Depending on lvl of squad leader (works by brackets, like 19-35), it will teleport you to the entrance of either fb19, 39 or 51. Leader will have to pay a small fee (like 2k if I recall right) and then squad enters the dungeon. Where at entrance a "tree npc" will be found that will give quest to summon a boss. Kill the boss and squad leader get a Maiden chest and "helpers" get a lesser version of it. nice goodies in there including a Wild Mane mantle (For leaders), some rare all class pets, and some rare pills like shining pill and other random stuff like fantasy fruits, chips etc...
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Ahh ok, I hadn't noticed that it's been done before. Thanks for explaining! It sounds really fun, can't wait to try it. Small events like this really do make the game more enjoyable. b:cute

    Thanks for the heads up, i like this event; I let my veno do it for 12 chars b:chuckle

    EDIT- sounds like some people havent done it before - if you do, the boss hits very hard and has very high defences. If you manage to stay alive long enough but dont kill it - after a short time the quest succeeds anyway - you either kill it, or stay alive long enough and you win.

    My friend a barb lvl 54 invited me (lvl 66 cleric) to squad, and chose fb51 instance. We talked to NPCs, the boss appeared, and we started whacking it. The boss started with 1.8M HP. After less than 10 minutes, when it had more than 1M HP left, the boss just disappears in the middle of the fight. It is accompanied by a system message about a Golden dragon taking the lives of all monsters. The 30 minute timer keeps on running, and we do not get a kill in the quest, and the quest fails when the timer runs out.

    We did this twice, since after failure it gave the summon boss quest again. The same outcome. No rewards.

    Are we supposed to sweep the whole dungeon, searching for where the boss teleported to? Nah, I guess it's just buggy.

    Btw. the boss is a wuss. High defs maybe, but it hits quite weakly, and sometimes a little stronger. The barb had no trouble whatsoever, and the cleric could concentrate on DD'ing.

    Yup I did the event it was fun once the Faction member got over there fear of the unknown.

    We went though and exhausted our list of Alt. so can we doit the next day to or are we done for this event?

    Also it is to bad the prizes are not able to be traded or at LEAST able to transfer to another toon on the same account. I got a butterfly (Not my 1st choice for this character) but guess what I ALREADY have a butterfly on that character so had to toss it out at an NPC. So essentially I received no prize QQ. SAL

    Oh ya I thought the tree guy was in the FB but 1st you have to see the tree guy in the city THEN you go to the SELECTED FB where there is ANOTHER tree guy to activate the Boss.

    It is these little DETAILS that are MISSING that make these events such a pain in Azztec and makes me believe that PWI will NEVER put anything together with instructions that are easy to understand.

    How come they don't get it???

    I did this quest seven hours straight, didn't get anything good on my main. Hop on some fail alt for someone else to get it, immediately get a valley lemur pet. FML

    Did it again today for about 6 hours, still nothing good. That said, I probably have more buffs than I will use for the rest of the year. XD

    The bosses themselves are fairly easy for a high level squad, they hit like cupcakes. I barely had to heal at all, and mostly just DDed. Their defenses are kinda high, but we were able to kill them in a couple of minutes each time with a 3-4 man squad. If you are having trouble with the boss, I suggest a low level (level 59-19) stays in the squad as a permanent helper. For some reason, level 60s can't summon them even they do they can open the event, so make sure they watch their exp if they are at 59. They can summon reinforcements that give buffs including crit hit rate+ and increased damage.
