Section 10 of the Terms of Service States that you may not:
10. f) "Stalk," threaten or otherwise harass or cause discomfort to another;
(n) Take any action that disrupts the Service or that negatively affects or may prohibit other users from enjoying the Website, the Games or any other aspect of the Service.
This is an appauling afront to the low level characters of PW.
I expect to see a response from the GM's / Mod's on this as it violates and infringes up the rights of players who have to do quests in this region who are repeatededly harrassed, stalked and killed by everyone and his brother.

The instance is PK enabled, as is the entire world map. This does not mean players are permitted to ignore the Terms Of Service and harrass / stalk.
Stop polishing their **** and use your brains for something other than keeping your skull from caving in.
incidently, there's 2 Bosses, ( Shade eido, dismal shade ) 2 mobs ( ancient evil, guardian demonfires )
Plus a dig quest ( wheel of earth ), not including Silverfrost which is an 80+ quest.0 -
I completely agree with this thread!! I have friends leaving the game because they don't wish to play a game where the Devs and GMs condone the harrassment of other players! Because really thats what it is, harrassment....I should not have to beg PKers not to kill me just so I can get my quests done. The only real reason the PKers even flock to SP is so they can grief and harrass newbies over and over again. PVE SERVER MEANS WE WANT TO MAKE THE CHOICE FOR OURSELVES WHETHER OR NOT WE WANT TO BE KILLED BY MORONS WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN HARRASS PEOPLE ONLINE!!0

Keep forced PvP on PvP servers, that's what they are for right? Seems pretty ironic PvP prevents the completion of quests (PvE) on a PvE server.b:pleased

Just my piece, there are already several (thousand) threads on this topic, and guess what? Nothing is going to change any time soon.
PVP means player VERSUS player, how are you going to sit there and tell me it's fair for these high level D-bags with nothing better to do than harrass lowbies.
PVP Should not be forced upon players that are unable to defend themselves let alone fight back.
The only people opposed to these kinds of threads are the D-bags who are doing all the harrassing in the first place. Go kill some more lowbies and gtfo my thread.0 -
I'm neither with, or against mate. BUT too many ppl are pinning this **** on high lvls that supposedly kill nubs, you sir are full of shiit. seeing a lowbie in SP is like playing spot the Aussie in Sydney. (if u dont get this reference google it).

Lowbies don't NEED them, but PKr's don't NEED to kill them either, for the lowbie it's something that makes leveling easier, and for the higher levels it's all about their pk rating / trolling / being bored.
Coulding the issue with your pathetic arguement is like playing " hide the weiner " don't know how to play that? Go to jail. The issue is, the TOS clearly states that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable,

That makes FIVE quests, for lowbies, PLUS Silverfrost in the OHT quest chain.
So there's one of us here who knows what they are talking about, and clearly that isn't you.

I'm just saying it's unfair to transform an area of the game and to make some part of the game unplayable.
There are still players who are willing to do their quests.
Adding new features for pvp is great but not at the expense of a huge number of players (and specially to low levels). That's a stupid idea.0 -
For the moment I really am enjoying the PvP concept in SP. I like how I don't drop my things and I can just enter pk and have a bit of fun instead of standing in arch.
However I do feel bad for the noobs but honestly the ones that just fly above us do just fine. Other's holy path through real quick. The only ones that really get affected are the few that run right through in middle of a battle and they get aoe'd (which most are smart enough to wait then run though)
From what I've seen while I was in SP the biggest problem for lower lvls is actually being attacked by other low lvls. There are a bunch of low lvl bullies who like to go in the back to try to kill others around their lvl.
I like the idea of SP. It's a good idea. Yea it should prob be somewhere different so noobs don't get picked on by other noobs in a PvE server. If you want people to continue playing the game then you have to make the low lvls happy too.
I wish you can find another place to put the instance but for now I really am enjoying the open PvP concept a lot.

Ok so I never took the time to quest, oowait why is that?
you have the CHOICE to do those quests, in this situation it's either a)Get camped & waste your time on a quest you DON'T need. b)Do other quests that you have if that's what you're so set on.0 -
In other games I've played this kind of thing was called griefing and was bannable.
When I was a noob here I was trying to do my 69 culti and I had a +10 archer follow me around for about an hour straight. I consulted a GM through live chat and they told me to reroll on a PvE server.
That's the kind of game PWI is. Devs and GMs are all in a closet circle jerking while you have to resolve your own issues.0 -

Everytime I hear a complaint froma guild member it's never about being aoe'd, it;s about people standing in SP waiting for you to leave safe zone so they can kill you. some people have tried CHARGING COINS to allow entry into SP, this is despicable.
I'm level 85, I went in there and got pkd once, then that same person left me alone, didn;t do it again. People like this are not a problem. They know the Terms Of Service and respect the rules.

I was just saying what it was like on my server. I've honestly never played on a pvp server before lol.
And yes I agree. I do not understand why people would want to stalk people 20 lvls lower then them. It honestly is dumb and makes no sense. Where is the challenge is pvp if you are just going to 1 shot and stalk the lower lvls. Imo that isn't fun and will make people want to quit.
But yea on my server most people are respectful. And the few people who are not respectful to noobs usually are KoS for everyone in SP. TY for my shiney new R9 PWE b:chuckle

Except the fact that in SP, you can pk people lower than 30, aka Blue-names, which you CANNOT do in open map pvp on pvp servers. That's where this is getting annoying. <_< Sure, there's no immediate punishment for dying there, like dropping gear, but the punishment is time lost and frustration at the game and its community. from when i first came to the game i always noticed that the devs had a "F*** YOU!!" attitude towards low level players. this just proves it.
the whole "it's not mandatory to go in SP" is so **** til it isn't funny. it's not mandatory to PK low levels either. it's not mandatory to do anything in the game. SP was made so low levels can get a bit of exp. now that is thrown out the window and more. brand new players will surly be unaware of this, so when they wonder in sp to do FB or quests they get one shotted countless times and quit. this non-sense drives new players away. new plays may not even be aware of the tele stones in archo. forced PVP is good in PVP servers NOT PVE, at least not in such a freakin low level area. i swear the devs MUST be on some of the hardest crack in the world to think making SP an PK zone was a good idea.
they need only stop being lazy, stop making cash items and make a freaking instance made for the sole purpose of pvp. i've played mmos for years and i NEVER seen such a lack of forethought in something like this. other mmos don't slap pvp in known questing zones that are low level. pk zone are even made in such a way where high levels can even get in a low level pk zone.0 -

I live in Tasmania, and am real aware of how racist us white aussies can be, but you take the cake, most of the people in Sydney are Australians like us no matter what the color of their skin is, and i am ashamed that people like you go around spreading this garbage making the rest of us Aussies look as stupid as you, also maybe you should listern to your missus sounds like she is the smart one.There are old Warriors, and bold Warriors,

I agree that SP shouldn't be a pk area. I always sais it should be a safe zone. IT IS AN FB!!!
For those of you who weren't here when they imposed the no pk rule in SP, it was hell. I remember not being able to do an FB without getting killed many times. Some actually blocked the way inside. If the GMs were actually THERE when u needed one, it would be another matter. But with little supervision , there will always be abuse. I guess we'll be going back to those times and relive those precious memories...

Since you seem to understand the principle, help me educate an idiot that doesnt understand the origins of the word VERSUS ( The V in pvp ).
Allow me to educate you,
Whenever gladiators, warriors, soldiers, sumo, boxers, MMA's etc compete, it is in a VERSUS format.
You do NOT take a 4'5" 120lb man and put him in the arena with a 6'8"
345 lb man. This is GROSSLY unfair.
Player Versus Player in turn, should imply that all players who wish to do battle should be doing so with people at their own level.
The difference between PVP and PK:
PVP is about doing battle with people to determine the best of the best.
PK is about some lowlife coward who is too afraid to do battle with people their own level,
so they 1 shot lowbies to give themself a sense of accomplishment because IRL, these people are weak, pathetic cowards.0 -
