HA/AA weapon and TW.

First of all, sorry for writing so much in this thread, i hope u will take your time to read it (:

I found one of my oldest characters interesting again. My venomancer.
She is lvl 92 so far, sage, LA build, hp shards, pdef ornaments, using magic sword and i play on a PvE server.

Now u know a little about her lol


The thing is, i really loooove foxform. The pdef is already high (or more or less) in foxform with just light armor.
But a LA veno will pretty much lack on p.attk since only 1 str pr lvl, which is close to nothing when talking about p.attk.

So i found the build HA/AA veno. And i love it. Tho it is an expensive build i believe it will be cheaper for me (my bm on same account, i have account stash, so most gear will be ready for my veno at lvl 100, got my vana pants like 3 days ago, weeeeeeeh)

Lets talk about the HA side of a HA/AA veno.
The pdef boost is even more nice with this build in foxform, and the higher str will add up on my physical damage too. Yay.

But i'm a lot worried still.. My goal is to do TW with my veno, and ofc a high pdef and hp here will be useful. But my damage..
Both my m.attk and p.attk will never be the highest, so im worried about if i even will do enough damage to kill my enemies. Maybe i will be able to survive a lot more (or maybe not, who knows), but no use if i cant kill just 1 person in there. Else i should just flying around and aoe purge everyone and amp ofc. But... i wanna join the fight too! its a war afterall.

Another thing.. The weapon.
Ofc the r8 weapon is nice but...
It's a pataka...

I know they have the highest physical attack of all magic weapons and a lower-higher magical attack too, but their attack rate is pretty low.
Aps did a lot in this game, we all know that. And since much of my HA gear is interval based anyway, my veno will have that too. A little aps will never hurts. So don't get me wrong, im not planning to go aps on veno. But.... will still have some since my gear already are that way...

With a magic sword i will be able to be 2aps (or 2.22 with tt99 evasion ornaments or 2.5 with +wind shield)
But a pataka is down on 1.43 aps (1.54 with tt99 evasion ornaments or 1.67 with +wind shield) xD Lol i dont think i will ever use the evasion ornaments on veno.. But i have them, so just showing the aps.

Im just wondering what weapon that will be best for me in TW, and ofc also in other places. I'm not sure if i will do int hits mixed with few skills or just spamming skills.
Well, i just dont wanna waste time getting money for the rep i need to get the r8 pataka, if its not even the right weapon for me.

I dont see r9 weapon as an opportunity since it cost too much (:
