There are a lot of things I agree with in this thread =)

-Primarily, texture/mesh updates for the older classes. It's not as hard as everyone thinks, since they devs add new texture/meshes every time we get new stuff. Allowing character ini-edits is a similar point

-Dye has been getting more and more expensive with all the "Color Me Mounts!" that have come up recently, and I don't think it's going to stop. Having a way to directly buy dyes in game for a reasonable amount of coins would be awesome.

-The two npc mounts from the pet manager should be lowered in price, to make it easier for new players to get them without needing to CS.

-More endgame content for those 100+

-More event quests based on level, not "Use your lvl100 alt and pwn everyone else". Even though I DID place 14th for clerics during the skyflame event at level 38, verses the other 90+ clerics. :3

-Veno Pets gaining a certain amount more than 15 exp per kill after level 60, 80, 90, and 100. It doesn't need to be a huge increase, but something at least.

-Open/fix the arenas, with tiers based on level range available so people generally fight the same geared people.

-Increased aggro holding capability for barbs.

    -Underwater instance anyone?

-Bring back the Archosaur Team of devs, and film them visually humiliating the current devs for what they've done to their originally wonderful game. ;)
-Get pregnant and raise a family

There is a game that SIMulates this.
    That's the thing though. It's not MMORPG-styled.

You don't directly control your Sim. You don't get job classes. You don't have access to a whole virtual world. You can't do things with your online friends.

MMORPGs shouldn't be limited to one thing per game(which is mainly the role of a hero in combat-related gameplay). It should be a whole virtual world.

Besides, you want combat? There's already a game for that. Thousands of games. See what I did there? It can work both ways.

What's so wrong with being able to play the same game alongside non-combat/civilian characters? More gameplay options wouldn't hurt the rest of the community.

The thing with this is...can PWE really be trusted to not **** this idea up? It sounds like a great idea, people could merchant or make and sell potions and armor...O_o Oh, wait they already can in PWI.

b:surrender How would civilians "level up"? How would they survive the economy where warriors obviously make more money? Who'll babysit the kids while they're at work doing civilian things? What if the kids find the sharp pointy weapons of the next door neighbors? Will we have to cage up our barbarians to keep the kids safe?

For RPG styled gaming, there is a Medieval style SIMulation game. It would be nice if they made a MMO styled SIMulation game, but I doubt that would come from pwe.

Also...I frequently **** and mod my SIMs, so...<_< I think I'd be to tempted to try if PWI suddenly became like that.

    Why would you want to?

I fyou want that experience, either forget the condom one night, or poke a hole in your lovers. Or something.

Besides... It would be stupid and lame in this game, especially with how stupid and lame they do some things as it is. b:surrender

Except you're forced to fight to even get to that. You even start with a weapon, for crying out loud.

Levels in PWI, and most MMOs, are based off of battle experience. Thus, progression through the game is reliant on battles. Instead, to fit civilians in, leveling stats independently is key. Plus it's more realistic. If you constantly make shoes for a living, your magic isn't gonna go up any, for instance. You'd build dexterity and intelligence/wisdom.
For RPG styled gaming, there is a Medieval style SIMulation game. It would be nice if they made a MMO styled SIMulation game, but I doubt that would come from pwe.
That's why PWE fails. A narrow target audience and only one path in it's flagship game.
Also...I frequently **** and mod my SIMs, so...<_< I think I'd be to tempted to try if PWI suddenly became like that.
We're not talking about what the SIMs have to offer. We're talking about making PWI a sandbox game as opposed to a theme park game.

It's pretty obvious that the original development team had grand plans for end-game content. Finish/create more quests in:

    -heaven/hell
    -past map
    -restore old Lunar
    -restore old FC
-add a more difficult setting for HH
-add new world bosses to TB/EG expansions
-weekly GM events (kill the GM, Easter bunny, fix Valentine's and xmas, random GM world boss spawns like in center of arch or somewhere else)
    -more announced wraith attacks

This game is far too civil. There needs to be more GM/NPC carnage/participation in the world maps.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Although to be fair, you can teleport for free to archosaur from any of the starting cities starting at BH level, so it doesn't really cost more money to not have the illusion stones elsewhere. I still really like the idea though.

I would fix the magic shell glitch

I would give arcane armor more p.def to reflect the new reality that melees hit just as hard (harder) than arcanes do with the new gear

    I would balance the classes

I would create an new free PK instance that had two options. The first option would be to only compete against people in your level range, for different incentives. Nothing game breaking, but give them a reason to be in there. Like maybe dq points, cheap fashion, etc. It would be setup similar to TW for training purposes. The other would be just a free for all if you didn't want to have a pk tournament style thing. All the benefits of PK in SP would apply.

I would remove pk in sp

I would make a quest to receive a pk immunity (both ability to target others, and the ability to be targetted) chip in cube, that expired in room 39 or higher. It would slightly nerf the reward at the end; such as reducing the amount of exp received.

I'd add a new farming instance that required a rainbow squad, if more than one person dropped out of the squad at a time, then you'd have to start over. It would require at least 5 people. Some of the bosses would have a physical defense of 9999999999999. Some of them would be elemental immune. To encourage blended squads

I'd make guardian scrolls and bronze charms sold by an npc for 100k each.

I'd remove the 10 million coin big note from the boutique agent

I'd expand the ring engraving system to other types, but make the stats added by farmed materials, some of which you have to farm yourself and aren't tradeable. You could pick up the quest to be able to pick them up from an appropriate npc.

I'd make more end game instances, quests, etc

    I'd make more newbie instances

No, that would be a phenomenal change, for the game. He didn't leave us voluntarily, just remember that. I imagine his post on the subject would have been something like this:

The devs in China have messed up again! Sp is now 100% pkable for every server blue name or not. Rest assured we are working on coming up with a solution to this, as we feel it is a bit unfair to our PVE servers and also to the PVP community as well! Please be patient as we work to resolve this issue! We believe it was a good idea, but the placement was bad! I'll keep you posted!

While I love the ideas, can you IMAGINE the outcry from this? I can picture it now:

    "It's a safe zone! I shouldn't die!"

"It's a waste of my time and money!"

"When I enter a SZ, it's with the explicit aim to not get killed!! This goes against what I agreed to in entering the SZ!"

    "I demand compensation!!!11!"

It only seems to work well on private servers.
