    Sales are having less and less of a dent on gold prices, isn't it funny?

    The old combo of chip+rep+dorbs did not bring gold anywhere close to 1.5m this time

    Even Anni packs at 15 gold for 50 didn't do it.

    PWI is really getting desperate eh? D orbs at 45 silver for 10... You might think pixels have no cost, therefore PWI making it as cheap as possible is not a sign of losing, but really, it is. It means demand for their endgame boutique items is getting lower and lower. I've never actually spouted a "game is dead" post yet, but this time I'm going to do it, lol. Not for the usual reasons others announce

    "Glitches! Gold is high! Impossible to farm! Power levelers!" etc etc

    My reason is that

    Gold is low despite massive sales.

    Maybe PWI should just have no sales for a couple of weeks and see what hap- Ohh wait anniversary + holiday season coming up!

    For us, only during the end, on Tuesday night really, right before the announcement about the D orb "give away" really. Throughout the week, it was still in the low 1.4m for us.

    it had a big spike starting sunday really, but i guess it didnt hit 1400k until early yesterday

    I think like... 8 or 9 months ago packs weren't on sale, maybe.



    Also, the sale is permanent. Even if it "ends" it will just be on sale 2 weeks later.

    no, Olba has a good point.

    it's sort of like how copyright law works in the USA. the local constitution says copyrights and patents are to be for "a limited time", but the legislature keeps passing laws that retroactively extend the term of existing copyrights every time they're about to expire. and the judicial branch has officially said that so long as each given extension is for a finite, limited time, they can keep this up forever. this is why (this is the ONLY REASON why) mickey mouse is still copyrighted by Disney.

    It was January / February of 2011. There was a 6 week or 8 week period of no sale on packs. I recall this because I reinstalled in the preceding December, so when March came around, I was under the impression that packs go off sale regularly.

    I too would like an answer to this as well. I don't get paid till next week and I, call me crazy, actually want to buy these packs. I hope they don't poof on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
