    I'm guessing the packs would be more than it would cost to just buy one (sell packs, buy tome cheaper).

    There's no guarantee you'd ever get one. You'd have to open more than 34,000 to have a 50/50 chance of getting one, over 115,000 to have a 90% chance, over 229,000 to have a 99% chance, and increasingly more to further reduce the chance of not getting one.

    Packs have always been, on average, a losing proposition... gambler's expectations overprice the packs. Somewhere in the forum archives is WarrenWolfy's tiger pack simulator spreadsheet, which could be modified to use the items and odds of these packs, and you could then simulate opening thousands of packs without wasting your coin/cash.

    so do you have a better chance of getting something good with these new packs than the easy rider, tiger and lucky coral packs?
