A new alliance? Valhalla, Afterlife and Crimson

As an officer of one of the guilds concerning this matter, I find it my duty to speak up and present my ideas and opinion on the plans 'behind the scenes'.
It has been discussed amongst the leaders of Afterlife, Valhalla and Crimson to take Kylin off the map as the mutual enemy.
- Valhalla will be attacking Sanctuary, keeping a barrier of Deicide, Crimson and Kylin between them and Catalyst.
- Afterlife will continue to act 'defenseless' against Catalyst and are planning forward to stack alongside Valhalla, taking Kylin's lands.
- Crimson will attack Fragrant Hills, trying to reclaim their lost land. If at one point they get cut off in a way they won't be able to attack Kylin, they will turn themselves to Deicide.
In my honest opinion, this kind of political play disgusts me. TW is supposed to be about fun, competition and guild effort towards success. Instead of trusting in our guilds ability to come forward and succeed, we lower ourselves to little schemes and cowardly behavior that one should be ashamed of. This is also the feeling I get when our guild decided to join in on this plan.
- What happened to Valhalla's pride? We were so eager to take on Catalyst at one point and in my opinion we could have won, or at least given them a good fight and had some fun? Instead it started to turn into no-shows, and eventually repositioning themselves where we could not fight Catalyst. Now asking Afterlife and Crimson's cooperation to take on Kylin?
- What happened to Afterlife's willpower that they showed the first time they attacked Lost City? Why act so defenseless and even plan ahead to the point of being whiped off the map?
- What happened to Crimson's honor that they hold so highly? Kylin vs Crimson are still good wars and to a certain extend they match in power and capabilities. Why does one need to lower themselves into little schemes and tricks just to win? We will be ridiculed even more than ever now we joined in on this plan.
In the end any one of these guilds can give a good 1v1 fight against Kylin, yet they all refuse to trust in their guilds to bring them to success. Instead lowering themselves to the level of disgrace and shame. I am just an officer, not a leader. The decision is not in my hands to change a guilds TW intentions back to what they should be: fun, competition and guild effort. What has become of today's TW motives? Are people that desperate to win?
To me it seems that the leadership of Valhalla, Crimson and Afterlife have lost any feel of decency and morality when it comes to TW and they will do whatever it takes to gain map domination.

I agree, but I'm sure my opinion doesn't matter since I'm currently in Kylin.
Nor do I think anyone will listen because this is the same kind of **** that's been said since Crimson vs. Zulu. Nothing's changed and the exact same points that were valid then are still valid today, cept with some different names and faces on different sides.
Those that face challenges get stronger, those that do not remain weaker and inexperienced, so they compensate for this by ganking. Thus, the entire server has and always will be quality vs. quantity.I AGOREY0 -
Also doesn't it kinda defeat the purpose of basically implying those guilds are cowards, then you hide behind an alt account?
Show your face ffs. If you're afraid of your guild getting mad at you for having an opinion then it's probably not a guild worth staying in anyways.I AGOREY0 -
TBH since this is a game about map conquest, anything should be considered fair game. This reminds me of the times when someone in league of legends gets 3-man ganked, and then the gankee(a tryndamere) cries out "lol takes 3 to kill me i win all 1v1 bichhhhh poosies".
It's obvious by now no one is gonna beat Catalyst or Kylin 1v1, so this just keeps the game interesting.
But seriously, the OP is obviously a troll post, I doubt any of this information is truthful since he didn't even post on a real char.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
I replied to the 7th topic on the 1st page of mystic forums, and got reported for necro. Plz save mystic forums.0 -

This is not a troll post, these are the current plans as far as they have been discussed amongst the leadership of the guilds in matter. Just go ask your guild leader for confirmation if you have that little faith.0

Yeah, kills all credibility when people hide on alts like this.
But I think what OP is saying is...
As an example, two days ago a certain cleric flew out at west, trip sparked midair, and the moment the cleric's feet hit the ground, they'd IG and shot at me. This cleric was well enough refined and geared that I'd definitely die in one shot; hell I might've died without the trip spark. So I died, flew out thinking I would go "get revenge" only to find the cleric wasn't there. About a minute later, the cleric was flying back out of SZ. Same Spiel. Triple spark mid-air, drop down and IG before they're even sure I see them. Again, I died.
Third time they came, I thought why don't I make a point, so when they came back, I IG'ed too. Sat there, asked the cleric how their day was, and then when IGs came off, I killed the cleric in two shots. The cleric did not return after this.
Point of the story being, if you hide behind a bunch of luxuries like potting in PK when your opponent does not, or ganking with ridiculous odds, you're only cheating yourself. What ends up happening is that when people go to TW, where the odds are 1v1 and EVERYONE has a stack of pots ready, then suddenly you find yourself lost and confused when the tactics you've adapted to are failing miserably.
If EVERY guild would just learn to fend for themselves, then TWs as a whole would probably be loads more interesting. Instead, the guilds named in this thread opt to call for ganks, move away from a guild that defeats them or stop trying entirely.
But yeah, this is beating a dead horse. Same story it's always been, and it will be until the underdog guilds actually gain the confidence to take a risk and learn from a loss instead of avoiding it like the plague.
Only question I have looking at the TW map is....
I've always said that I believe people aren't AFRAID of stacking Catalyst, but rather they don't because it sounds boring. They'd either get a crystal sprint or they'd get rolled in 5 minutes.
Yet, here we are now, and people are stacking Kylin. I gotta admit, I don't understand the logic behind that and it does seem extremely cowardly unless there's some other explanation I'm not seeing. Seems like people actually ARE afraid to stack Catalyst, so instead they're going for the second-best guild, with one of the gankers getting crystal sprints while the others get rolled in 5 minutes. Don't see how that's any different from stacking Catalyst, to be honest, cept that this tactic fails to address the very issue that the GANKERS THEMSELVES are sometimes complaining about: Who's gonna stop Cata from taking the map.... b:laughI AGOREY0 -

Whoever wrote it should show their face.
If they truly are from a guild but not showing it, then the guilds mentioned are just gonna lie and claim this is a troll. If they're from some random guild and not actually from one of those three, then they're a dirty liar and THEY'RE GOING TO HELL. (PRAISE JEBUS!)I AGOREY0 -

I don't think it matters who wrote it tbh. if all of this is true, time will tell lol... Me? I believe it. There is no doubt that these factions would do what the OP wrote here.Originally Posted by Curses - Harshlands

I didn't bother reading the whole post. I don't find this likely, seeing as Kylin can, and has proven to this date, defeat all three guilds in a fair 1v1. So, assuming Kylin wipes Crimson off the map, I think we have enough lands to survive. Kinda like pacman. No more green. Then go to yellow. Then..well, we don't have to worry about AfterLife. I love Catalyst. Anyway, edited because I thought I should make this more clear: last week we ignored Valhalla and beat Crimson in 25 minutes. The week prior, though I wasn't on due to hurricane issues, we lost with a stack when trying to defend both. No idea on the details. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..yeah. =/=0

Who cares about map domination just pick one faction you don't like on the map. Take all their lands. Pick another one take all theirs until all the factions you don't like are off the map. Then throw tea parties with crumpets.Push me,
And then just touch me.

worst case scenario would be valala + AL + crims stack? but with all the other guilds tryin to get land you'd probably get spread over the weekend, meaning they would probably just lose 1 land at most per week, gaining 1 as well since they've beaten all 1v1 before...which means kylin won't rly go anywhere b:avoid
and wtf o_O a LC PWIC Finalist trollin our forums lol0 -
Nothing we don't know already, although AL is stuck in a corner for now. Yes, clearly let's focus on the 2nd strongest guild instead of the strongest guild b:laugh. All I need to say is "bring it" b:victory.0

I agree we should be given proof or a name.
Just today Crimson asked me if I was down for PKing Val with them.I AGOREY0 -
I already knew about AfterLife wanting to "relocate" onto Kylin land before this was even posted, so it's pretty obvious these three guilds all have an understanding even if it isn't a formal alliance. Whether they all sat down and agreed for this to doesn't really matter because the result is the same.
Post from your main and you can probably get an invitation to Kylin if you get kicked.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Riiiiight... it's like Deicide are ally with you since they stacked us!!!! b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Tradewind was the best strategic move they could have made: Valhalla won't bid it because it borders Catalyst, Crimson can't take it back and Kylin doesn't care because Deicide isn't Crimson. I actually tried to put my alt in Deicide after their war ended and got rejected so it's a pretty bad alliance, if you ask me.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
