Random bans?

Ok so I went to log my main account and keeps saying "Inncorrect account name or password". I have used this account info since the game started, so I know its not wrong info. So I log into this account and a fac mate said server banned a few accounts for like an hour?!?! WTH is up with this? If I had abused a glitch I could understand but randomly banning people for no good reason? really? Some anni gift this is THX!!! <~~note sarcasim

and yes I know an hour doesnt seem like long but its the general idea of it thats annoying.

Anyone else have this happen to them today? or just a select few?

GMs don't need a reason to ban an account. But to answer the question of any other bans, I know of at least two people who have randomly gotten banned.

Is it a ban or is the password changed? People are saying if you reset your password you can log in just fine.

I need to know because this happened to my cleric and I don't remember the original e-mail for it. So needless to say I'm pissed.
