So...ya jump ppl going into an area that already stated to be a non pk area resulting in a ban that has had a glitch which results in allowing pk of ppl not in pk which has been deemed a bannable offense then get uppity and self righteous when ppl complain about a blatant glitch and ask that Mods who are ment to enforce Pwi rules on their forums to close threads made by ppl who are complaining about a bunch of ppl who want to pk in an area that is non pk and will result in a ban if they do so....that makes perfect sense hahahaha wow youve made my day/night i love childish arrogant self righteous pety E-peen swinging internet tough dude/dudettes who think they have a right to break rules clearly stated by a service provider who clearly states what is and isnt allowed.

I don't blame them. I mean, if a random GM suddenly declares that this random list of stuff is bannable but only 3% of it is actually enforced, why would anyone care to listen to the GM's since their chances of actually getting in trouble are next to none. Now if you want to talk about ZEN charging abuse well that is about the only thing GM's really look at for obvious reasonsb:laugh.

If you need any further evidence that power leveling and lack of rule enforcement are killing this game, please carefully read this thread. The whole thread, not just the excerpts that KrittyCat sends you.

You'll see high level players with no respect for the ToS and rules of fair play. You'll see bored high level bullies telling people that the quests in Secret Passage don't matter, and they should just skip them, hyper to a higher level, and get on with the game (which undoubtedly means buying heads or a coveted date with gooners). This is what happens when end-game is all that matters.

You'll see these same bullies telling your lower level players to beg to be able to play their game, and to stop complaining about being bullied. You'll see them even trying to close one of the very few avenues available to people to point out the unfairness of the bullying by asking that threads such as these be closed. Perhaps they don't want you to see what's really going on here.

Is this what you want for your game? Is this the type of environment that will attract new blood and a stable player base? I'm not sure of the percentage of business that comes from word-of-mouth and happy customers in YOUR industry, but I know in MINE it's substantial. I really can't imagine you're attracting much new business that way at this point.

I would think that part of your duties include informing management about the general sense of the community. Well I think this thread alone provides a pretty accurate snapshot. And it's not a pretty picture.

yes. THIS. if some random group of friends just want to randomly PK, they can guard each others' drops (since they're good friends) while PKing in high-level land where bluenames can't survive the mobs, or they can pass the hat around to pay for shatter-repair mirages.

or else what they want to do isn't really PKing, it's some watered-down simile of PvP play... kindof like dueling, in a way, perhaps. whaddayaknow, you can duel almost anywhere, any time you want to! then you can even use bramble and whatnot, as well!

that too. if there's any other explanation for why the arena's been shut down all these years, i can't imagine it.

which means there's good news, this glitch likely WILL actually get fixed pretty soon, for the same reason the arena's still shut down... hopefully they'll think of some other way to get at those quest mobs before they shut down the SP. b:cute
