PWI's 3rd Anniversary

I see PWI's 3rd anniversary has been announced, but I don't see any kind of celebration besides another pack sale. Why is this? We see packs go on sale every other week, so it's really nothing special to most of us, especially those of us who can't afford to pay cash for a game. Can we hear from a GM if there will be any other events for PWI's 3rd anniversary? Do we free players get love too? b:sad I've been playing PWI since not very long after it opened.

    There will be other events no doubt for the anniversary. And those packs arent just any packs the packs going on sale are packs they only bring out once a year atm. These packs have better odds of winning certain things.

    Well, after maintenance...its the 31th of Aug... so perhaps tomorrow night, we will get an announcement of sorts for the anniversary.b:shutup

    And yes it is. The anni is Sep 2nd. This is week of. It's maint day. Every year prior we get our anni festivities on maint day the week of. So it's more like the first day of Hanukkah and you get a "were having an anni pack sale" memo.

    but but but I did all my dailies yesterday, I repaired all my gear and I cleaned my inventory and bank, can I open just one today?

    first year was the free mount the secon year was i forgot was it fashion? or something anything this year free that would realy suck there is a lot who can not afford to buy gold etc in this game .so if any 1has a clue get back to me i do jade having another big add on cant wait to see that.

    This, but instead of a walmart coupon, it's a discount card for shizz you don't want or need, from that relative you really don't like....
    Although, GM's and mod's aren't allowed to give spoilers, which is a shame :/ because I'd at least like a little sneaky peak ;D but so long as it isn't another mount, again i think the vet's will be happy, even if PW need to focus on not getting the newer community to rage-quit after paying their way to 85 then getting bored...

    And speaking of the very near future, PWI's third anniversary is fast approaching, and we're gearing up for some pretty fun festivities - You can certainly expect lots of events and gifts as has been the tradition, as well as an interesting new wrinkle - new game content! It would spoil the surprise to give it all away here in this post, but we will say that just about everyone will have something new to do, whether you're a craftsman, a warrior, or a hopeless romantic.

    But by no means will the anniversary mark the end of new content and gameplay changes for PWI - in the weeks following this date, players will see more big announcements, a major bug fix, and plenty of excitement in general.

    they are from two years ago before tideborn or earthguards were released

    the tideborn flyers are in both of them. infact the tideborn flyers were added to packs right after they were released.

    edit: nvm i just checked. only year of the tiger has the tideborn flyers. i thought it applied to both. but there still in there and earthguard is not :(
