Thx mods for taking the old guides down, they've been needing ot come down for a long time now. Glad to see that the wizzie forum has finally been heard

    End game pvp isn't the only pvp. You've all reached end game and forgot that. I have lowbie characters I still pk on, pandora's covered lowbie pvp and all of yours are 100+ rank 8 wizzes which some wizzes never even bother to get to =/ No thanks from me.

    pvping on a lowbie character is how you learn to pk at endgame, so all your saying is that you won't need a guide at endgame. gz to you

    No, thats stupid. I said we need a lower level (pve included not everyone frosts to 100 if you could get that through your head maybe it would be easier) one not that we don't need higher level guides, infact. What you just said made no sense at all. Gratz to you.

    You're more than welcome to write a lowbie guide if you want, although I'm not sure what you'll say.. press w to move toward mob.. Use skill xx then skill xx - mob should be dead. Locate next mob.. Use skill xx then skill xx.. Mob should be dead etc.

    I don't remember you even posting on the forums pre-9x (I'm assuming you weren't lurking and reading guides.. Could be wrong though), and if you didn't need a guide for the lowbie levels, I'm curious why you think others will/do

    Nope, just the simple grinding spots for your level (foxwings, the bat things at the swamps). Party make ups for bh's. Weapons you could be using at your level (Sakyamuni's Light vs HH70 griefs breath) I'm leveling a character now not through frosts just through bh's and grinding and questing atm and there is still a few out there who dont want to frost to 100 and afk at south =] The guides are the single reason I picked a wiz actually. I wanted to reroll and I couldnt decide which class. So I read the guides. Pandoras is what made me choose a wiz. I didnt post alot because I knew a few wizzes from essence who helped me when I had to decide things. Maybe others don't have wizzys to go to for one, and maybe I will sit down and try and write one b:cute

    you need a guide to know where to grind?

    i leveled to about 95 before fc'ing

    do you know where i went to grind?

    the spot where i could kill stuff the fastest

    didnt need someone to tell me that

    if you do yer dum and need to not play games

    as for picking weapons/armors

    well i would say it would be best to post here in this forum

    because everything aint for everybody nawmean?

    also hardtothink, there are already guides of where to grind at 6x 7x 8x as a wiz, the stats you should have to do gamma and be successful. we don't need a stickied guide to show that to ppl, they can SEARCH for it themselves. Ya know that handy button that the forums have. Or, if they really wanna lvl like the old days, they wont use guides. We didn't have them to tell us the best place to grind.

    I remember finding seaweed thiefs on my bm and figuring out that i coudl aoe grind by myself on them. or the seaspary bladewolfs at dreamweaver, was invited to zhen squads for those. Pve is not difficult and doesn't require a guide. For the 1% of the game that wants to go through doing quests and grinding leisurly, im sure that they can figure it out for themselves.

    Maybe link the old guides in the end of the new ones with a comment that a lot of info isn't valid anymore

    ^I cant believe people still grind for fun anymore. Makes me tear up thinking about non hyper babies... b:sad

    ^Wow I remember doing this about Six months ago... and... Before that about a year 1/2 ago... Man that brought up some ancient memories of my first run through a wizard in PWI... Oh god thinking of playing LC back in the day as a know nothing nab still gives me chills... b:cry

    Uhm... lvl guide REALLY?....
    There is an ingame feature that actually tells you the best places to lvl at your current lvl so in my own opinion that would be a waste of time an effort considering its already there.

    Maybe a few PW calcs could be nice for e.g. what to aim for for Lvl 80 gear and whatnot but that can easily be included in any guide if people/authors wish to put in the additional effort but it's still pretty simple to work out...
