Ok so i was just killing some mobs then this guy came over (white name) and wanted 2 trade so i clicked yes to see what he wanted, next thing i know he has my weapon in his slot (made by me so was def my weapon) then another guy fell from the sky and pked me
when i opened my bag my braclet and weapon was gone, my name was white so i shouldnt be able 2 lose items in 1 pk that was equipped 2 me?
so my question is, How did they manage to select what they wanted off me?

It's not a ****. It's people getting taken by another that proposes to help them "duplicate" their items, thus cheating the game into giving them two of said item. Basically, they end up trading their gear to someone and that someone walks away with their gear.
It's being promoted as a glitch in the trade system and every day we see more and more gullible people falling for it.
You can try submitting a ticket, but they will just tell you that you got taken, stuff is gone, you're not getting it back. Learn from your mistakes.
What any of this has to do with pk is beyond me.
Unless of course, the OP got killed and then dropped said weapon as a result. The offending party may have been white named, and if the OP initiated the attack, the offending party would still be white named.
In either case, the OP is the one at fault for losing their weapon. There is no **** to "steal" the gear off of someone else. It's purely the level of gullibility of the person who "lost" the items.

Im very diffident on this too, cuz PW servers are impossible 2 hacks. Im nowhere near a noob hacker but i know they have very good protection

This sure is an intriguing, scary issue, especially the fact they could control you, somehow. Thanks for sharing.

Additionally the client is easily broken into. You know how easy it is to open the debug mode? Can do some craaaazy **** in there. Admittedly most of it is purely debugging, but the relocate commands and similar could be used for evil if you got the server to accept it.
That said, ive doubts people are losing items just for opening a trade window, even tho there is potential for a **** to do things to it.0 -

As IT student and quite interested of security I can say that all servers can be cracked. (US military servers, US goverment,banks,NASA etc etc have been cracked) Internet security doesn't really exist and online game is quite good practice area for new hacker as if you get caught it is not so big deal.
Also many new cracker uses to play online games so there are potential knowledge...and when there are opportunity to benefit without big risk of getting caught what they do...
But in topic some investigation should be done if this is one of many glitches there are. (Almost all complicated softwares has glitches and it is not so easy to fix them as some may think)0 -

Re-reading this, he does state that he was in PK, he got PK'ed and that he lost said items in PK. No **** at all.
Equipped or not, when you get PK'ed you have a chance to drop items. Even if you are white named.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Something doesn't sit right with me. Like binding a NPC wep (face it, thats the only type of wep that would cost 3k).
Also, why would this scammer bother to pick on somebody with total **** gear?
To me, this sounds like the poster was a victim in "bait and kill" pking. It's simple- distract somebody by getting them into a screen where they can't easily switch back to their skills, and have your main drop down and kill them. I've known people who actually farmed white names this way. (yes, white names do drop, and its amazing what some people have floating in their inventories).
The way to prevent this? Just don't accept random trade requests from people. I never accept random requests or squad requests. Before I didn't accept them because 99.9% I got a message saying "moneys pls." After reading all these comments I REALLY won't be accepting them lol0 -

not true. as a white name you only have a chance to drop items in your inventory. (like 1% chance according to pwi's drop chart)
you have 0% chance to drop anything equiped to you, you have to be infamous (1hour or more of redness) to have a chance to drop anything equiped.
Ive died thousands of times while white/temporary pink (temp pink being where you enter battle mode but don't kill any white names, chance to drop and item in your inventory goes to 20%) and i've never dropped anything that was equiped to my character in the gear slots.

I agree whit you, people mix to rule in here, The white drop is from monsters. It happens 2 times that I drop an item when a boss killed me and I was white. I still ahve to see a pker make me drop anything.
Also the pking strategy to farm white would involved attacking him when he gets pink when he defend. It does work I have made pink drop in my red times. I never saw a white drop from pking I made.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
