Mid to high level money making

okay, while the Money Making guide in this forum is great for low levels... I was wondering what the best ways to make money once one reaches, say level 40 to 60 happen to be? I know there is Twilight Temple at 60, but I rarely see adverts for runs into the Twilight Temple anymore on my server and those that do run are usually for TT 3-X, which I doubt would be viable for a level 60-65 character. Additionally there is the fact that the majority of my toons are between the levels of 40 and 55 and making money on them prior to TT seems a bit difficult. Is there any way to make money aside from TT?

I mean can I go into Call of Duty Dungeons and fight the Bosses without the Tabs and get the rare drops despite not having the tabs, or are the tabs required for the rare drops?

Alternatively is there any other way to make money that I am unaware of for some reason unbeknownst to me?

EDIT: Oh and please don't say use the Cash Shop. I am hoping to find a way that doesn't utilize the Cash Shop for this purpose.

Grind for DQ drops and sell them for money. You can trade in the DQ points for some rewards as well. Another way is to learn prices of things in your server, buy low and sell high in the auction house.

Like the above poster said. DQ items can net you a lot of money, either by selling them to other people for bank ext or dq quests/points or selling them and getting dq points yourself.

Other than that I have been making a decent amount of money farming for things like rough fur and others. on my server ppl are buying rough fur for about 12k at shops and ppl buy em from shops for about 25 - 30k. In a good half hour I can get between 10-20 of these along with dq and other mats.

where would be the best place to farm for Rough Fur? As I am unfamiliar with farming for that particular material.

The problem with advice like this in forums, is for the next year or so every new mid level player is going to read it and go try and farm rough fur, which will eventually lead to a glut on the market and the price will plummet, such that it is no longer profitable to farm.

The basic idea is sound, target something you see sold and more importantly bought in the Auction House, and farm that. The fewer competitors you have, the more secure your income will be.

You need to decide if the time it takes you farm your materials is worth the return. Can you make as much or more in an hour as you could if you bought gold with your real life hourly wage?

If you don't work (a kid, on welfare, in college, etc.), then sure, buying gold may not be an option so farming may be your only alternative. There is also merchandising, but that takes more experience and some capital to get started.
    Just some guy

Yes unfortunately, by me mentioning rough fur this will cause more ppl to farm it thus lowering the price.

What you can think along with this is what is used along with rough fur in the manufacturing process. If more ppl sell rough fur and saturate the market it will cause a demand in the other materials due to rough fur being more available.

This can work the same for any item in itself.

An item I like to farm and sell myself is Hay. I normally farm lv 30 antelope pups. These drop a dq item along with a chance of hay. Around them are togrim and some spiders, which all drop dq items as well. Herbs are around in the area as well. A little ways away are some wraiths and such that drops other dq items. Even as I have gotten to a slightly higher level I like to farm here on occasion to give a change of pace from other places.

Normally on my server hay sells for on average 20k or so. People at shops are buying it for like 8k, and i advertise and sell it for about 16k pretty fast or post it in shop for about 18k and still move it fast.

I also have a job while going to school. During the day during my off time between classes, I dont mind just farming some mats/mobs to eventually level up higher so that I can make more money in game.

Rough Fur is not DQ it is a normal material drop from mobs.
