Hello i was wondering: is it legal to change game font and cursors to my own likeing?

Since i dont really like the official font. And could make myself newer fresh look for the game by changing font and cursors :)

Please GM reply!b:victory

Not a GM, but changing the game *.ini files isn't allowed. You can however reverse the UI to the Tideborn style if you're experiencing issues with the current one. Search the guide on how to do it.

NO, basically the only thing that you have been given permission to change is the .ini file in order to revert to the old UI. Pretty much any other changes made to game files is a violation of the TOS and can get you banned.

Any and all client side visual / audio changes except for character templates are invisible to the server. You wont get banned, they just pretend you can cos theyre stupid.

That statement is almost true. They could possibly code the patcher to run CRC checks on the files and report any inconsitencies. (There are some games that do this, Wizard101 being a god example). There are other methods that they could use through the client as well.

But yeah, basically anything that you do client-side, that doesn't affect actual in-game values, (like character ini edits affect in-game values), should be perfectly legal. I remember a **** once that really made a lot of the older class skills look way cool.
