But within itself provides ways of avoiding those people.
i.e. I was playing with players, testing out how ridiculous sins are, and i took to keeping this 1 player from escaping (throat cut if they tried to tele out, sleep them if they ran, etc), , then I got bored, he messed up and went pink and then died. So I go on my merry way then I get a spam of PMs telling me to repent and general religious themed harasment, all from the player I killed.
How was it solved? I blacklisted him. Never to be heard of again

I just normally laugh, shake my head and kill them again. And if they killed me, point out they're a hypocrite and go to town. I mean if the blacklist had a more infinite number of slots sure I would blacklist everyone and their mother who had an issue with getting pked or me not being of their religion. Valhalla does well - KISS KISS ... Valhalla does not do well .. ** YOU.
Wishy washy backstabbers and I'll say it again... beware the person you drag through FC, nonstop, the person you help with culti, help gear up, most likely will be the one that also says you only know how to faceroll, you suck in TW and totally laugh at you - the moment their gang of friends is standing behind them.
Debbie, VALHALA DOES NOT GEAR AND FC LOWBIESAizza - Harshlands wrote: »And btw Valhalla members and are not friends.. not remotely. They would pk me any chance they got.
But the thing is, while me and Valhalla don't see eye to eye or get along, they are pro and you got to give props where props is due. Separate dislike from the truth.
Debbie, a lot of people in the thread who are at the level to PK you would do it too Also Debbie, why are you saying that Valhala is pro? b:shockedAizza - Harshlands wrote: »You have a good point but you know... even if a guild is good, they can have their off days at TW, we all know that and sometimes the strategy may of been flawed or.. the other guild was just that good....
And we all know that gear does not make the person, the person makes the gear. If you suck and put on R9, your still gonna suck.
But Debbie, Valhala hasn't won a single significant war since the map reset. I don't think this involves them having "off days" like you put it forward: they are simply incompetent. There should be no need for strategy against Ky when you have r9, Debbie.
@The bold: we were saying exactly that about Valhala...why did you repeat it, Debbie?I seriously wonder: people who don't RPK, if you play the board game "Sorry!" and you roll the dice so that you land on an opponents piece and send it back to the beginning, do you sincerely apologize and ask everyone if you can have a do-over roll so you can give your victim another chance? It's a god damn game..

I mean for ****s sake I was threatened by someone three years ago that if that person saw or even found me in real life that they would murder me for defending a friend on a subject that I'm going to discuss. I'm sorry but anyone making threats to end my life or a friend's I do take very seriously whether it's online or offline. Especially the multitudes of threats I've received for the past few weeks because well I'm a pagan.
I'm type of person who will fight back with any means neccessary if people try to bully me or my friends. I do not fight fair nor do I simply roll over and let people walk over me. Sure blacklisting is a good solution but people can continue the abuse on a multitude of accounts and characters. I mean hell, people on Harshlands know that all too well with Golgotha. Normally when people who try to abuse me are the ones who end up blacklisting me instead of me blacklisting them which means they're out of my hair for a long time. Sometimes it helps acting like you're insane xDDD

And I tended to fight back against bullies as well, but this would be in real life, at times when I was pushed far enough to resort to it. If I were to react in the same frenzied way over some in game dispute, I would probably have to put myself in time out for acting like a stupid child.0 -

From my experience working in a staffing agency, I've learned there is no defense for crazy. People out there can **** your ip and track you down in more ways than I can think of. If you think that there is a big difference then you probably live underneath a rock. I mean honestly. People can even track pictures you upload from a cell phone by using your GPS Chip. Should I give more examples?
And I have been threatened face to face... Nice try Both experiences left the same bad taste in my mouth. Both people posed potentially dangerous situtations, both are very real possibilities.
And messing with other people's heads isn't going into a frenzy like a "stupid little child" Then again you don't understand the complexities of how someone only can easily track you down and make their threat real.Formerly LadyTsukiyo: Nab cleric, and Harshlands biggest loudmouth. They can track you down but damn you have to make them real mad for that, lol. I tend to quit while I'm ahead or attempt to diffuse the situation if it happens online. No not every idiot flamer is a master hacker. and I honestly do not see how you can get the same feeling when someone does it online as opposed to someone walking up to you and putting their hands around your throat. There are the rare cases where the psychos behind the computer screen are dead serious, but those are, as stated before, rare cases. Messing with other people's heads is putting yourself in the same position as an "online bully", you have simply reversed the situation. Therefore you would have no right to complain.0 -

OP, I don't even know you, but from reading through these posts, it was pretty easy to see that you're being extremely hypocritical.
You cry that you're being called names...but then you go off and do the same thing to other people you're complaining about?
Then you make points about something...and contradict those same points in the same post?
Eh...
Whenever someone actually makes a valid point against your case, you either blatently ignore it or you twist it around to try and make it sound like it's saying something it's not, or that they're attacking you.
You also seem to like nitpicking at unnecessary details just for the satisfaction of doing so...0 -

Sure the cases are rare, but is that a chance you're willing to risk? For me, no. I'm not going to risk my life by taking their threat likely. Anymore that I would take someone in real life who threatened in me lightly. I think you fail to realize that while we may talk through a computer, there are real people people behind these screens. Unless of course you think that there are no human beings behind these computer screens...then you have serious mental issues that you might want to get checked out. And I highly advise you to throw your computer out as well
Manipulating the bully wouldn't put me in the same situation but throw what they say back at them exposing their weakness. The natural law of cause and effect if you will. Other's call it karma (even though that's a bas.tardization (which is taking something and twisting the original context to the point that it's not recognizable in the original culture it was presented in)), Threefold Law, etc. They wanted to take that step to try and harass me, they get what they deserve.Formerly LadyTsukiyo: Nab cleric, and Harshlands biggest loudmouth. Real people yes, however please tell me you do notice how anonymity and being behind a computer screen tends to make people bold about what they say, and say things they don't mean. And I believe if you are going to take everything everyone says on the internet seriously maybe you should take your own advice and throw out your computer.0 -

This has got to be one of the best cases of someone repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot.
You just don't get it, but you have been p@wned here repeatedly. Your arguments are circular and silly, and you only accomplish getting yourself deeper into the doo doo.
You get my gold plated "Shoots Self in Foot" award.
It seems to be hopeless, the only sliver of hope I see for you is that you get distracted by something else and leave, thereby putting an end to this self-infliction.Just some guy0 -
sweet mercy this thread went on for 11 pages?O_o.
we need to let this die. while i'm against trolling (most of the time. sometimes i troll pp who are total idiots), asking for things like monitoring of players and punishing is simply too much to ask. and believe it or not, the players here are kittens compared to other mmos, like a certain space base one where ppl would literally hunt you down from across the freaking galaxy just to grieve you.
to make matters worse, to OP is now contradicting her/himself by throwing insults.0 -
