For people to share their scammer experiences....
Mine was yesterday, in Lost City on my newbie alternate, scammer on 30ish wb.
scammer : Hey, you need a good weapon?
me : ?
scammer : You need flyer
me : what flyer?
scammer : your fly mount you need?
me : of cuz i need
scammer : how much you have
me : 10k, you?
scammer : 100k... trade me fly mount for weapon. meet at teleporter
(i read abt all the people getting their items dropped from trading with players or something so i tried another method to mess with him)
me : you mail me the weapon i mail you the mount
scammer : mailed. mail will take one hr to reach
(waited for 30secs to sound convincing, all the while i was semi afk questing)
me : mailed will take one hr.
(at this point he keeps trying to party me which i rejected and asking for my location)
scammer : where are you. come lost city.
me : i am at archasour, no money to teleport come.
(he keeps trrying to locate me for some unknown reason while i kept lying abt my location)
scammer : one hour and one focking mount!
me : one hour and no focking weapon!
scammer : im sorry but *** you!
me : what is *** u? i need 100k plz.
(then i spam plz i need 100k for charms a few times just for laughs)

This is another one.. greedy beggar in action.
i was questing on my alt in fishing village when a lvl 40ish cleric nearby pmed me
beggar : Hey can you help me?
me : what you need ?
beggar : i need money for repairs and pots.
(he partied me which i accepted cuz i was ****ing sick of killing mobs. Then i went to him cuz i wanted to see how greedy he can get)

how much do you have plz.?
( oh here i comes. i decided to test his greed and mess with him some)
me : about 6mil right now. how much you need?
(silence....for abt 15 to 20 secs. I swore i feel the wheels turning in his mind on how much to ask for ahaha)
beggar: 1 mil plz...i need to learn skills too.
(ahahahahaha farking greedy beggar)
me: go archosaur and wait west gate i will give you money there.
(he ported there and i continued my boring questing)0 -
this is anothe one not a scammer nor beggar but still why are some people so stupid as hell with their so obvious traps.
i was rednamed in templed from chasing this same level sin all over the place, then a lvl 59 warrior pmed me while i mediating...
warrior : i need help with quest come outside and help me.
(i was wtf? he can solo everything around here on his own, but since i was bored anyway i accepted his invite to see whats he is upto. hes white name btw and like 25 levels above me.)
me : what u need help with
alot of blah blah i cant remeber but after being unable to convince me to go out he does this
warrior : come. just outside i need to look at flower then i pay you 500k
(like lol?)
blah blah i went out and indeed he tried to kill me.......with his 60 sin friend Lol
luckily i was prepared jumped onto my flyer and ran around with them both chasing me...
warrior : stop plz....trade 500k if u stop
me : ok
(they couldnt catch me cuz they were using basic flys so i lead to around to archosaur and somehow his sin friend managed to get killed by the guards another lol...dropped his 60 tt weapon which i picked up and auctioned triple lol)0 -

i had experienced these ALOT...
they want free stuffs, like money or lvling, they walk around PMing everyone, hoping to meet a kind person that will help them, and when they found one, they rip !!! and most of them are little children and also, tho i dont wanna be racist, but most of them are from Romania, i dunno why, but they really are.
you know how i handle these people, i will invite them to squad, then ask them to come to you(so you give them money), and when they reach you, kick them. make it as far as possible from where they are. i had done this alot and is so much fun.0 -

edit: and .. bdw ... usualy the ppl that tryed to scam me were "well known" players and mostly from US (and they were doing that for "fun" bragging with the accomplishments) ... should i say then ... be aware of "americans"? o.o ... not at all!!! ... if some1 is an idiot .. is his own foult that doesen't mean all ppl from that particular country are idiots ... again ... ijs

The worst scam I've heard of is the one involving the 10k apo pot with the same graphic symbol as a 10M frostcovered sign of force thingy.AKA PermaSpark, Heartshatter0
