Soooooo..I send a ticket, as many people do, and got a very quick turn-around. While I was pleased with the turn around I was not so much with the reply. Who REALLY read the tickets we send? Any suggestions? I was given a response and what ticked me off was before I sent a ticket I wanted to ensure that it was covered in the TOS and it was. Let's just say working in the federal courts make you do a little more research sometimes than the average person b:surrender but anyway the response said that it was not a violation. Sometimes I will just say to myself, "what an idiot" and move on. Not this time! I had to follow up with a reply containing the excerpt from the TOS. Understand, I am aware of PWE and it's employees using discretion whether they will take any action but to tell me that nothing could be done because it's not a violation of TOS really grinds my gears (Love me some Family Guy b:chuckle) After almost 3 years of playing PW I rarely complain about anything that goes wrong including glitches. Isn't it funny how it was a customer service response from a ticket that got me going b:angry ? Although this is a "free to play" game, poor customer service anywhere just don't sit too well with me.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!

Feel free to flame on yourself b:angry because I know someone out there is smoldering.

The ToS of PWI is somewhat open to interpretation in some of its points, and you might have gotten snagged by an interpretation different from your own. Just to throw it out there, what was the violation? PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting it here.

    1st off.

Scammers/Cheaters will always be in any MMO's. Just double check the price of what you buy and what you willl get, always.. We cannot ask the company to employ 20 new gm's to check every catshop at each 5 mins to see who scams or who simply just overcharges. Imagine the work.

    2nd.

This game CAN be played 100% for free. If you and your boyfriend put money in it, it is because you wanted to save time. Everything and I do mean everything in this game can be bought whitout putting one penny in it. For sure some things will take longer to attain, but there is nothing a cash shopper can have that a non-cash shopper can't (providing time/effort). And if that doesn'T work fast enough for you, fill free offers for Zens, surveys and such. You will get some gold and it's not cash you will have put in.

    Just my two cents.

I like your definitions of "played" and "longer"

Scammers do not force you to buy or sell your items, and while they are scum at the same time, all you need to do is have them set a vending cat to sell you an item or you set one to sell them an item. You also look more carefully at prices before you buy, check prices with guildies or friends if you are unsure and don't loan anything for any reason.

My alts play for free and they do well. They get pked now and then (rare) but still, it's free, I have fun and I grind/farm the old way.

Perfect World really is beautiful and during lunch I log my alt, work on quests or cultis and really meet some cool people doing the same.

If anything is wrong with Perfect World it is people's inability to keep peer pressure from making them think they need to OWN or be R8/R9 to be something in the game.

I really do like playing the game old school, it is very enjoyable and keeps me from getting bored. I even have one up to crafting 3 (on all) - also done old school. I was soo proud when I made and sold powder potions that I farmed / crafted myself.

Basically this person rants in world chat in all caps, which many times people use them to ask for squads or sell things to break through all of the other BS. He goes on and on and people have even asked him on a few ocassions to not use caps. When people respond to him naturally he goes off the deep end. Fine..I get it that people have their days but this is an ongoing thing with this guy. One suggestion to me was to blacklist him, well of course that's the obvious thing to do and I did. But heck when I change characters I gotta remember to blacklist him again.

Section 11 (h) deals with excessive use of All Caps but the response I received stated that oh well nothing vulgar or obscene so he's fine. I totally understand that TOS is open to interpretation but to simply state that more or less that it's not in TOS is what ticks me off.

I am interested to see what I get back after I didn't accept the suggestion and copy and pasted a bit of TOS

At least you got a fast response to your ticket OP. Last one I sent took 7 days to get an answer and then the response told me to do the thing that I had just told them in the ticket was broken.

They dont read the tickets IMO. Just scan for keywords and sent you the wiki solution for the keyword when they feel like it.
