NPC Horse mount speed increase?

Hello! I was wondering if you could increase the speed of the Horse mounts you get from the Pet Manager from 7.00 to something higher. I know you can increase the speed of Cash shop mounts with the Spurs, but is there any type of increase for these Horsey mounts?

    It will lvl to lvl 11 if you ride it long enough. It'll be 8m/s then. Still not very fast, but a bit faster :)
    I can understand why pwi won't let you spur the mounts of makes them as quick as others though. The sales on mounts would be going down a lot...

    Thanks for the reply. Weirdly after posing this, I saw someone selling an 8.00m/s Dark Charger for 1.6m, was tempted to buy lol. I suppose 8m/s is an improvement. I just like them because I love horses, and noone seems to EVER be selling Silvermane D:

    My crimson leaper is spurred. Yes you can spur the npc mounts.

    Mine became swift redspeeder after I spurred it the first time, and hurricane redspeeder the second.

    You do it at the pet manager.

    Thats great! I'll look into it then. I take it you can buy Spurs from players? Although Ive not seen anybody every selling them.

    Yes indeed, horses FTW. Kinda wish I got the brown one now to match my RL horse. Black ones kinda plain x__x

    Yea I've had the brown one for three years now. Switched it around on whatever main I play. I like it better than any other mount to date.

    You can buy the spurs from players just like any other cash shop item, or buy the gold directly. The spurs ARE on sale right now- and it's only 12.5 gold (16.25m on HT) to max speed a basic horse. Normally it costs 25 gold (32m). Sale ends 8/31.

    I'm not sure if all pet managers have the same options but you're looking for the tab "Upgrades of Ride Mounts" which is where you can trade the spurs + basic mount for the upgraded one. The northwest corner of archo has a pet manager with that option if you have any trouble finding one.

    I've bought Gold before, but I usually prefer to buy Gold and then buy the items ingame, as I seem to get more for my money that way. Ill try and find out how much spurs are at this moment in time.

    Wow, three years! That's a pretty long time for one mount, I usually get bored, however I always seem to like riding horses in game rather than the Tempests etc. Not many people seem to have them (probably because of the speed), but I think they look great!

    you can max speed every mount in game using the spurs from the boutique if they arent maxed speed already...some are max speed when ya buy them


    the only 2 mounts that cant be made to max speed are the horses with the red or green flaming hoofs (or hooves or hoffies, whatever :p)

    I see. I knew that the boutique mounts could be upgraded to max, having had them before, however I was not sure if the horses bought from the Pet Manager were different.
    I have never seen those horses with the coloured hooves :O (I dont think...)

    you might not of on your server....the flaming red horse was brought out for a couple times around Halloween when the game first started and then they brought the green flaming horse a few Halloweens later

    so they were event horses you could win...dont think your server has been around yet for a Halloween event but i'm not sure
