Why do you want to know this btw? This isn't exactly the new Oblivion and the game isn't even optimized for modern computers.

b:chuckle Video ram, not system ram =P The 9800's didn't come with more that 1GB, and the industry standard for them was 512MB. It's too bad this game doesn't benefit from SLI.

Running a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz with 6GB ram, Win 7 64-bit and a 9800GT 512MB vid card. With settings near max, (no shadows, and distance set to the 4th of 5 dots), I get about 35fps on average. 45-50 out in the world, 30-40 in instances, and 18-20 in archosaur.

My laptop has 256MB, but I could only vote once.

We all have high VRAM the first Vcard had 64kb VRAM(if you can believe this - well, PC that time had 8MB HARD DISK-)
    For now 512MB rules
We got people with 2GB and suckers with 128MB.

I'm using NVIDIA GT540M with 2GB VRAM on my laptop, but sometimes I still got a lag in the game..
not sure whether the lag is from the hardwares or from my connection..

The games primary failure is that the engine was built before multi-core processors, so it isn't able to fully utilize your CPU.

It also depends on whether you are speaking of connection lag, or a low framerate.

That 128MB vote was for my laptop with GeForce 6600Go PciEx (Display Memory: 888 MB, Dedicated Memory: 120 MB, Shared Memory: 767 MB).

Of course desktop PC has better specs :)

BTW the 6600Go with optimised drivers is able to run 80vs80 TWs pretty well (no lag) on minimum settings with effects active and distances set to 100.
