Being Disconnected every couple minutes. WHY?

Hi,
as the title says, today i am getting a box come up saying "Disconnected from server. Please relog"
When i do relog, i have to either wait 5 mins or use Force Log option to get back into the game.
Then 2-5mins later i get the same box again and have to do the same process again.
This is really annoying and has only started today.
I havent changed anything, installed anything at all, so nothing has changed my end.
Can anyone help with a solution please?

i'm having your same problem i keep disconnecting every 30 mins or somethin.. this happens from yesterday.. i have no clue about what's going on and this never happened before i used to have a stable connection with no dcs b:surrender0

yeah this is the 5th time i DCd will doing something and either die or have to start all over or BOTH this is REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!b:angryb:angryb:angry0

Have any of you guys tried running a traceroute to see what's happening between you and the servers?
Note: A google search of "traceroute PWI servers" brings up THIS post as the first non-ad result. Scroll down to post number 6 for instructions, post 7 for an example.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Its the new Client Update from last Wednesday i belive! never had many dcs today it was just 4 Disconnects... good i wasnt do anything in that time ;PYou got trolled

Since most people aren't having the issue, I seriously doubt it. It does look like a hub near the east coast servers is having a problem though and that is causing disconnects.

I saw bunch of ppl that have this problem on my server.. i don't think it's a connection problem, my network ever worked fine so it's really strange.. i tried a traceroute but i can't understand much from that xD0 -
in that case it's most likely that a regional hub is having issues. The people DCing go through that hub, you don't.0

I played PW long time ago and wanted to try the international one.
I created a char in Lothranis Server ping 40-60ms (i'm playing from Tunisia and i choosen the closest/fastest server)
Ingame Ping is 60-30 ms it always say that's is "smouth" / "OK" ... so should be ok BUT EVERYTIME i log ingame i disconnect after 50-90 seconds, i relog again and again changed graphics setting to the lowest setting closed all programs restarted everything including rooter, checked connection BUT always same problem.
My connection is ok i'm sure about it so does someone has any idea about reasons of such problem ?

I've never had these problems before and my connection is working good and fast as always.
We are from different parts of the world (I'm from Italy) so what's going on?
It's not fair being dcd every 30-60 mins or more frequently.

I would accept being disconnected every 30-60 mins at least to start play but i'm being disconnected every 50-90 seconds (i chronometered it :P ).
I played so many MMO in the past KnightOnline, RappelZ, Rohan, Runes of Magic, Perfect World etc etc and it's strange to notice that instead of improving the games are adding area restrictions b:angry (like Gpotato, Nexon), more and more connections problems ...
I hope game makers work and think more on this, we have already enougth borders in the reality no need to add more in the net, used to be so open at it's birth b:sad0 -

What to do now? Should we submit a ticket? or just wait ? i also tried european server and it's the same.. i can't play the game this way0 -

ok, everyone having issues try this.....
Apparently you need more instruction because no one has posted results so here goes.....
1. click on THE LINK (either this one or the one above in the quote)
2. Once you know your server address, (the blue string in the above mentioned post), open a command prompt window and type "tracert server address". (example)
(if you don't know how to open a command prompt window click here.)
3. Now that you have done that, copy the information into a post using the Code tags. It will look similar to the above example.
Do this when you're having the issue. If you can't do that and post some results, open a ticket so the automated GM system can tell you to do the same thing.
Posting "QQ, I'm having the same issue" is pointless. We can help if you give us something to work with, but no one seems smart enough to figure that out.

Well, I went and followed the instructions to figure it out and discovered that I timed out at and following the second line. Comparing results with what Tiageos posted, I'm assuming that means it's an issue on my side, and if it's on my side, I don't know what you guys can do to help me. I know absolutely nothing about all of this, so I don't know.
I can run the traceroute again if you want to see the specifics, though.0 -
I've traced my connection to Heaven's Tears but cannot even copy the report into the forum.
From the 3rd point to the 7th I get no response then from the 13th to the 30th no response as well.
What can I do? I've tried so many times to copy the result from the Prompt to Word but can't understand what's wrong.

For hatsusen: yeah, it sounds like it's timing out at your ISP connection. Typically first stop is router, second is modem, third is ISP. I'd call them and see if they can check it out. PWI works on port 29000, maybe they have that port blocked or something.
For jilly25: stop 13 is PWE's ISP or their servers, so you won't get a response there and it will just time out till it hits the limit of 30. For the others though, sounds like the issue is starting at your ISP level there as well.
For both of you, I would recommend shutting down your computer and unplugging your modem and routers for at least a full minute. After you get everything back up, run the traceroute and see what response you get afterwards. If it still sucks, contact your ISP and tell them that you have rebooted everything like I said. It will help them a lot in testing it.
If it gets better, then try playing. If it starts acting up again in a couple of days, run the traceroute again and try the rebooting.
If you find that you have to reboot like this regularly, (at elast once a week), you have a defective modem, have your ISP replace it. (is covered with most ISP's)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
