Dorsets Signature Challenge

OK guys so im issueing a little challenge for ANYONE and i mean anyone who wishes to partake XD I hope this does actually capture some peoples interest

I need a new sig. I usually change once every couple of weeks but i decided i would turn to forums instead of making myself one yet again. so i would like anyone who wants, to to see if you can come up with something original.

but heres the catch

there are rules. the reason being i like to challenge people.

as i know there are some Incredible sig makers and artists in this forum i figured i would challenge them a little by setting a few guidelines that MUST be included in the sig. i already know you guys can make sigs standing on your heads

Similarly it means that those who havnt spent ages making sigs on the forums also have similar guidelines to follow. I wanna see what you can do too!

The Rules

1)

Im going to provide 7 Unedited screenshots of my char.

AT LEAST ONE pic of my char must be included in the sig. you can edit the pictures HOWEVER YOU LIKE but remember...my archer is my baby please try not to accidently make her look like she got hit in the face with a spade. (not that anybody would) XD Similarly (for instance the one where she wearing a hatlooks liek she has armpit hair because of the wig ) some have bits that glitched feel free to change them me.

2)

This one is rather basic. it MUST say my name and it Must say some kind of quote or saying XD i added this rule cause i always hate choosing quotes for people so i thought it might add to the challenge a lil bit. As no matter how high quality a sig might be if i hate the quote i wont use it. Similarly even if the sig is made by a beginner if they used a bit of imagination and made me smile id be happy to use that sig too.

3)

Now heres where it might get annoying. I want you to include these THREE exact colours ( in no matter how small or large quantity as you like) into the signature. i dont care where, i dont care how just get them in there and make them fit XD you can obv use other colours in the sig i dont mind. you can also add your own pictures or screenshots xd

Ok so as for prizes i guess im pretty ****ty at thinking up Prizes.

1st Place: i will used your signature, put a link in my sig to the thread of your choice and advertise it for the duration of me using your sigs (wont be for less than two weeks) and I shall get the old Graphics Tablet out and draw your char and colour it or shade it also

2nd Place: I will make YOU a sig if you want one and I shall do a lil sketch of your char no colouring no shading just lines.

I guess thats all i can offer XD i hope somebody finds this amusing enough to have a crack at it.

I used one of your colors for the font, and then combined the two purples to make a crushed paper effect. I used picture 1 because I liked it the most. I sketched it and used simple the bucket tool and paint tool to color it a little bit. I used a quote from Beverly Sills because signature has a double meaning when it comes to you. LOL

Have a shot :P you dont have to JUST use those colours just encorporate them somehow XD you can use mainly black if you want to

Here's attempt #1!

You gave all those images and the letter idea came immediately to mind. The quote reminds me of how you always describe Dorset. Plus I think it's fitting of her. I might attempt more. The font for the quote is a little difficult to read, to me at least. Gonna go play with that now and will return with the results.

Okay! So I dabbled again with photoshop, and since I know wont be able to enter all sigs, I'd like to submit this one.

I would. But I'm not so great with making sigs. I've never really spent time doing it, and it would look terribly rubbish compared to the experienced makers here. I get a bit frustrated with editing programs also b:surrender

I'd still encourage you to try! I'm really new to this too. Silvy got my first sig only a couple of months ago, and I still have never used gimp or photobucket. I don't know what half these terms mean, but I'm slowly improving and it's fun.

we all started somewhere. XD just compare the FIRST sigs in my list on my first page to the ones in the later posts. and if you dig hard enough you can find my first EVER sig thread back when nobody apart from FORSAKEN was doing sigs for people. Beleive me they were pretty bad XD but then if you work stuff out for yourself you always just gonna be getting better and better.

This was how my attempt went:

1) Saved 2 pictures, intending to edit the images.

2) Downloaded GIMP

3) Opened first picture in GIMP

4) Couldn't get the image to come out in one piece

5) Raged

6) Gave up.

Awesome, I haven't met many people from England here. I'm from Wiltshire, so Im only an hour or so ish from Dorset. I actually get the Wilts and Dorset bus to college LOL. Nice to meet another English person here b:pleased

Well i think making sigs is a lot of fun XD and ty . i wish there was some way i could fix the fact that i didnt reserve a post after my first post to put all these entries on. as it is imma have to put them onto all one background to get around the "only so many pics on one post" thing.
